The two sides stared each other down in silence. As the silence grew, Richi's eyes darted around the room, taking note of decor still hanging on the walls. Spears hung on the wall with a small plaque under them, though he was to far to distinguish what it said. Torn curtains hung on a large window behind Giovanni, which overlooked the ocean they had crossed to reach this island. A small blurb on the edge marked the location of his boat, still intact. He re-directed his attention to Giovanni, and watched him as he made a loud whistle. Immediately, the walls to the teens' left and right broke down, and armored guards flooded into the room. They looked bigger than the previous bunch, and carried much more lethal looking weapons.

"Oooh, how scary." Jenna mocked. "More muscular guards. Have mercy." With a motion of her head, Jenna, Sean, and Valeriya split to keep the horde of guards at bay.

While the newcomers got their faces beat in by three 16 year old teens, the remaining 3 looked over at Giovanni, who seemed to be disappointed. "This is what I get for getting hired help, huh?" he asked himself.
"Yeah, pretty much." Richi agreed, stepping forward.

With a grunt, Richi dashed forward, leaped over a body, and swung at the large man. Just before blade came into contact with skin, Giovanni seemed to vanish, giving off a smirk before disappearing from his spot. "Too slow." A whisper told him as two fists smashed into his head with enough power to force him through the floorboards. "One down, five remaining." Giovanni noted. He lunged at Cain with a roar, who had been flipping through profiles on his phone. With a grin on his face he selected a profile, and morphed into a large, tanned man with strange markings on his face. He brandished a large battle axe, which he swung with ease, which made contact with armor, tossing him aside. Giovanni knocked into several other guards fighting Valeriya and brought down a large group. "Strrriiiike!" Cain shouted in a deep voice. Scotch took this time to fire shots at the downed man, though the bullets simply bounced off the metal shell.

"Nothing's affecting him..." she muttered to herself. Scotch looked at the area the axe had cleaved the armor. "Not even a scratch...."

As Giovanni struggled to get up, a hand burst through the floorboards and grabbed his ankle. Before he could react, the large man was pulled through the weakened floorboards, taking down everyone under him to the floor below. While Giovanni threw off unconscious bodies piled on top of him, Richi pulled himself up from the floor below and stared down at him. "Give up." he demanded.

With a snarl,Giovanni disappeared from the floor below and reappeared beside Richi. He jumped back and readied his sword again, seemingly eager for a harder fight. Giovanni pushed off the ground, and charged forward with blinding speed. A three on one fight seemed amusing to them, yet his speed made him more than a challenge.

Val watched from the corner of her eye while focusing on her assailants. Their movements were too fast to read, and the feeling of a police baton jabbing her stomach re-shifted her focus. Batting away anyone close, Val began playing her flute. Poulenc Flute Sonata, 1st mvt, Pahud sang through the air, and the guards stopped attacking. Jenna and Sean lowered their weapons cautiously. The guards surged forward and charged all at once. They ran past their previous enemies and began swinging their weapons at Giovanni, who seemed shocked at what was happening. One by one he threw them off, but more took their place, until he became buried under the seemingly zombified guards and cold steel.

Jenna looked over at Valeriya. "Why didn't you do that in the first place?!" she yelled. Val simply looked back and gave her a sheepish smile. "Heh...." Snickers escaped the mouths of the other teens, and soon laughter rang through the room. Richi took the pleasant time to observe the room. The curtains were ripped and stained with blood, and the once soft velvet carpet under their feet was trampled and ruffled. The decors hanging on the walls were knocked aside, and were scattered about the room. The laughter died down, and a something coming from the pile stopped all pleasantries.

Muffled shouts came from under the bodies of the guards, and the teens re-armed themselves. Suddenly, Giovanni burst out of the pile, cut and bruised. With a yell, he stomped the ground, and a pulse of energy emitted from the boot.

Objects flew around the room, and the teens were thrown into the wall. Dust spread around the room, obscuring their view and giving them coughing fits. Dazed from his head slamming into the wall, Richi slowly stood up. Giovanni looked over at him from the middle of the room and cackled. "Two down, Four remaining." he told him. Unsure of what he meant, Richi looked over to his left. Jenna, Sean, and Cain stood by his side, scratched and bruised, but otherwise okay.

"Ngh!" a soft voice came from his right.

Richi slowly turned, a fear inside growing, and his heart stopped with dread.

"Scotch! Val!"

Val lay on the ground, blood trickling down from her head and forming a pool of blood.
Scotch was still alive, but her blood was also flowing out of her body.

A spear had impaled her stomach.
