Hi, life has been busy, sorry, kthnxbai
Chris' eyes widened as the weather began to spiral out of control, his grip on Alex tightening even more. "You're too emotional to even try and restrain him.." He swallowed and his eyes darted to Tobias who was tending to the speedster. "You three get out of here!" He handed Alex off to the two males, blowing into his hands afterwards. "Jaime!" He called out, slowly making his way through the blinding snow. Scotty snarled, snow and wind spiraled around the fox as he made his way over towards Cadaver, shoving Erasers aside and pushing his way through, unbeknownst of the toddler following after him. Chris turned, his eyes instantly spotting the black hair sticking out in the snow. "Jaime!" He called out, using one arm to shield his face before heading after the toddler. Alex looked up and she helped Tobias carry Trystan over to the vehicle, nibbling on her bottom lip that quivered uncontrollably. "Scotty!" She and Chris called out, which only fell upon deaf ears. "Stop this nonsense! You're going to kill us all! Let him go!" Chris shouted, closing in on the toddler and the out-of-control hybrid. Jaime reached out and held onto Scotty, bright blue eyes looking up to lock onto eyes that reflected his own color. The toddler teared up and started to cry, holding onto Scotty, whether out of fear or sadness, it seemed to pull the fox out of his trance. Scotty shook his head and fell to his knees, hugging Jaime into his arms once his limbs hit the snow. Chris sighed out in relief, dropping his arm when the snow slowly began to stop. After digging his way through, he finally approached the two and knelt down, resting his hand on the fox's shoulder. "C'mon, Scott. We'll come back for the body.. We need to get everyone out of the cold." Scott's ears flattened to his head and nodded at the command, slowly rising to his feet. He held the toddler tightly before beginning to walk.
Fletcher watched in silence, amused at how Blake easily bent the metal. "This is magnificent.. how you do this... You're able to do this with blood too right? The iron fragments in blood?" Blake only nodded at his friend's questions, pulling away from the metal and wiping his forehead. "Blake.. Why did you save me so long ago?" Fletcher asked and walked away for a brief second, pouring a few chemicals into beakers before loading them into syringes. "You were working under Riddler, you could have easily let me die under that metal beam." He looked over, catching gazes with Blake. Blake swallowed and was silent before replying in a quiet manner. "I was at the point where I couldn't handle anymore death, I sold my sister to a life of experiments and prodding." He shook his head. "Had enough." Blake sighed and picked up the metal object, looking over. "It's ready for wiring." He pushed the object over, crossing his arms. Both pairs of eyes looked at the door when Tobias entered. "Scrap the whole thing." The red head scowled out, staring at the metallic wing on the table. "What?' Fletcher glared down, his fists immediately clenching. "Where's Fang? You were supposed to bring him back here. Tobias shook his head, avoiding eye-contact. "He.. didn't-" "Didn't-what" Fletcher grabbed onto the teen's shirt, yanking him close. "The whole point of you going with them, was to keep him alive!" Fletcher shouted, shoving him back. "You said you could change it! And yet, here you are!" Fletcher grabbed a flask and held it back ready to be thrown before Blake grabbed his wrist. "Enough. There was probably nothing any of them could do." Blake took the flask and sat it aside. "Both of you go home. I'll do something with this." He said and sighed, rubbing the back of his head. Fletcher jerked his hand away and sat the flask down. "I don't wan't to see you around here, ever." He said and glared, pushing past Tobias.
