Lexi, and her struggles of being a teenage girl, and her developing powers...
If you weren't born with it
You can buy a couple ornaments
Lexi stared into the full-length mirror, hands resting by her sides before she placed them on her hips, letting out an annoyed sigh, catching Jamie’s attention as he passed by her room. The teen backtracked and slid into his sister’s room. “What’s up?” He asked and sat at the edge of the bed, sipping from a straw. “Can’t decide.. Help meeeee!” Lexi whined out and pulled her uniform’s skirt down, staring at her reflection. “Why me? And with what?” Jamie rose a brow and relaxed back, leaning on her elbows. “Every girl needs a gay brother for fashion.” She winked, giggling when her brother rolled his eyes in annoyance. “I don’t know if I want to wear the school’s tie, or the bowtie...” Lexi sighed and took a step back, falling back on the beside Jaime. He looked over and stood, grabbing both the options and staring at them. “Well, since your hair is pretty long, I’d say to go with the bowtie.” Jaime smiled and handed it over to her. “I’ll see you downstairs.” He patted her head before leaving the room.
Just be sure to read the warning, kids
'Cause pretty soon you'll be bored of it, ha-ha
Sexual, hey girl if you wanna feel sexual
You can always call up a professional
They stick pins in you like a vegetable
Lexi looked down at the bowtie in her hand, shrugging once as she slid it around into place and clipping it. She turned to the side and lifted her chin, straightening up her shoulders. She reached behind her and grabbed her hair, lifting it up. Fingers relaxed and the hair slowly slid back into place, the length stopping at the tail of her coat. She then slowly made her way over to the door and closed it, locking it.
Kids forever, kids forever
Baby soft skin turns into leather
Don't be dramatic, it's only some plastic
No one will love you if you're unattractive
The teen was silent at lunch, swirling her spoon around in the unappetizing lunch. She half listened to her friends, only looking up when their discussion peaked her interest. “Have you those hero freaks with the wings?” One of them asked, continuing only when she got a few replies. “Do they have like, feathers over their body?” “They’d have to! There’s no way they couldn’t” Another one piped in. “Lexi?” She looked in the direction that her name was called. “Pardon me?” She blinked, her friend sighing when she had to repeat herself. “What do you think? Also, your hair is getting like super long, don’t you think it’s time for a cut? Didn’t we agree to have shorter hair?” She tilted her head and Lexi just nodded. “Haven’t seen ‘em.” Lexi shrugged and stood, grabbing her tray. “I’ll see you guys in class.” She said and gave them a gentle smile before leaving the cafeteria.
Oh, Mrs. Potato Head, tell me, is it true that pain is beauty?
Does a new face come with a warranty?
Will a pretty face make it better?
Oh, Mr. Potato Head, tell me
How did you afford her surgery?
Do you swear you'll stay forever?
Even if her face don't stay together
Even if her face don't stay together
The teen hugged herself as she walked around her room eyes staring at the ground as she paced. She took deep breaths and ran her hands through her hair, tears threatening to spill over. "Can't.. I can't go today.." She whispered, shaking her head. Lexi looked up when she heard her name called from the other side of the door. "I'll be down in second!" She called out, her lower lip quivering.
If you want a little more confidence
Potatoes turn to french fries, yeah it's common sense
All you need's a couple more condiments
And a hundred thousand dollars for some compliments
Trembling fingers pulled the bowtie loose and she tossed it on the bed, barely unbuttoning the buttons on her shirt. She stopped in front of the full length mirror, not bothering to look up, her vision too blurred from tears. Lexi dropped her shirt to the ground and opened the closet door, letting her wings loosen. Her eyes widen at the feeling and more tears fell at the remembrance of the comments made at school. Lexi stepped out of her skirt and closed the closet door, making her way across her room. She opened a drawer and grabbed a t-shirt, sliding it over her thin frame before pulling on shorts. "Not going to school today." She whimpered out and wiped her eyes, choking back sobs.
It's such a waste
When little girls grow into their mother's face
But little girls are learning how to cut and paste
And pucker up their lips until they suffocate
She was motionless for a few seconds before she clenched her fists and the scissors flew across the room, the blades lodging into the mirror glass. Lexi covered her mouth, taking a few deep breaths to calm her down. She slowly walked over to the shattered glass and grabbed a piece, looking at her distorted reflection. She let out a few quiet cries and grabbed her hair with one hand, running the shard of glass through her hair. Lexi squeezed her eyes shut and dropped the glass, turning away from the mirror. She let out a soft sighed and began to clean up the mess, careful not look at her reflection in the mirror.

Lexi rubbed her arm as she made her way downstairs, tucking a short strand behind her ear when she sat down at the breakfast table. She twiddled her thumbs and looked down at her lap, feeling all eyes with her. Fang opened his mouth and then stopped, tapping his fingers on the table. "I want my wings gone." She said and looked up, looking at Fang when he coughed, almost choking on the water he was drinking. "You what?" Jaime asked and furrowed his brows together. "I-" Lexi began. "No." Fang cut her off, crossing his arms. "Why not?" She glared, hands gripping tightly onto his shirt. "Give me a valid reason as to why." He said and leaned forward, glaring back.
Oh, Mrs. Potato Head, tell me, is it true that pain is beauty?
Does a new face come with a warranty?
Will a pretty face make it better?
"I just.." She whispered and looked away, tearing up. It wasn't long before Devin was at her side, looking at the glass cut hair. "Exactly." Fang sighed, running his fingers through his hair. "School.." Jaime muttered, looking between his parents. "Clique of girls she hangs out, they're very.. particular." He sighed. Fang leaned forward, elbows resting his knees. "Is this why you cut your hair?" Lexi only nodded. "With glass.." She muttered and held out her left hand, showing the cut that was beginning to heal. Devin only stroked her hair, looking at her husband. He knew the look and only his shook his head. "Lex, the group you hang out with, if they want to change your appearance, then they are not your friends." He said softly, his tone changing completely. Lexi nodded and played with a longer strand of hair. "But," he started. "I do like your short hair. It looks good on you." Fang gave her a reassuring smile, one she hardly saw.
Oh, Mr. Potato Head, tell me

Yo! Attention all Red Revenge fans! I've got a proposition.
((It's called a contest you idiot))
Oh, shut up!
Anyway, as I said *tapes Sam's mouth closed* I have a competition!
Holly's mask is supposed to be domino themed, but I don't want a Robin domino mask or one the sidekicks wear. I want something unique, individual, and awesome. Here's the contest:
GOAL: Draw/make/Whatev a domino mask for Holly, submit it by November 31st in the images on the club with a link messages to me.
DETAILS: I want the mask to hide her identity (duh) I don't want it to be like Robin's and Speedy's, etc. I want it to be green and decorative.
PRIZE: To the best mask, I'll give the winner "What Matters?" a week before it's release (Dec. 29th) in one big package. The only agreement you have to make is no spoilers.
Have fun peeps!

“Are we in position, Draxx?” Revenge whispered.
“Yes. All positions secure.”
“Excellent.”
“Are you sure Grant won’t mind us doing this?” Draxx asked. “I mean this is his company.”
“What Grant doesn’t know, won’t hurt him.”
“That’s usually not true.”
Red Revenge laughed.
It took almost two hours for the assassin to appear. She slipped stealthily among the shadows.
“Target spotted.” Revenge said, picking up his gun and aiming it squarely at the feminine figure.
“On your signal.” Draxx radioed over.
Revenge aimed the sights, lined up the crosshairs, and pulled the trigger. The assassin began to scale the building.
“Now.” Revenge said, leaping from the roof of his company at the same minute.
