if u r listening 2 this, then all the rest of the officers r dead. and, yes, the entire task force, including Misa, r dead as well...and u r next. *Light smirks as he writes the last officer's name down in the death note.* *the officer starts grabbing at his chest and falls 2 the floor, dropping the phone on the desk* i know about Near and Mello, and i realize that i will have as much trouble with u as i did with L, but i promis that i WILL find u, and, when i do, i will END U BOTH. *Light smirks as he speaks into a microphone with a built in voice scrambler* what's wrong Near? you're being quiet. u afraid, or do u think thats its not possable that i can hear u. i have camra's and voice sencers everywhere, espeshally around the computer and deck, cuz i knew that's where the phone would end up, so, go ahead Near, say something.
Near: you're wrong, Kira. *he replied after a pause* what u r doing is NOT justice and u WILL NOT get away with this.
u seem 2 b more confident in your words then i thought u would b, Near. after all, not even L, the world's greatest detective, could find me and died trying. what makes u think that your mission will end any different?

Near: is that what u do when someone helps u? u simply just kill them when u have no use 4 them?
"not everyone" *he glances slightly at me b4 continuing* no, usually there r other ways 2 keep them quiet so that i don't need 2 go that far.

really? think carefully, Near. we BOTH want a better world, we BOTH want justice, and we BOTH want crime 2 stop. have u noticed, Near, since i started my killing 3 years ago, crime is at a near stand-still. the people have, and they agree, and thats y i'm still here. i aim 2 crete a purfect world, Near. a world without crime and with no war. isn't that what u want 2? Near; not if killing is the only way 2 get it. killing them is just as bad as them killing in the 1st place. *he raises his voice slightly*
