I was very little in the 80s so don't remember much in terms of music, but when I got older I started to discover music from that decade more through listening to my parents vinyl's and CDs and now DAB 80s radio station.

I think my parents are hearing more 80s music now (since I play it all day) then when they were younger as well as discovering bands that they never knew (like my dad said 'there were so many bands/singers around in the 80s, it was hard to keep up with them all"). Posted over a year ago

Love Hair/Glam Metal and classic Hard Rock. Listen to it all day long. My dad started me off (7 years old) on Classic Hard Rock and Hair Metal when I was younger with vinyl records he played of Europe, Deep Purple, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and Yngwie Malmsteen. Then I started to discover and listen to Dokken, Ratt, Def Leppard and Poison. I am now 34 years old and still have all those bands records and CDs. I constantly listen to them. When I was 7 years old my parents got me into this band. My dad had the vinyl record of the album "Final Countdown" and would play it constantly. Loved it from start to finish. I am now 34 years old & still play that record on my player frequently. Love Joey Tempest voice and John Norum guitar playing. One of my favourite rock voices and guitar players.
