Ellen, you came like a tidal wave and swept me away. You brought me together. You make me cry in empathy. You give me hope, lighten up the darkest hour, address the deepest fears, you give a smile, you shed a tear, you share your hurt and joy in equal measure. I watch you being funny and razor sharp, silly and generous. I read and re-read "Seriously...I'm kidding" whilst writing too and you provide belly-laughs, thoughtful moments, wishful pauses.
