I sensed something like this WAY early in the season. I put it down to Damon being hopelessly in love with Elena and too happy to be snarky. Hopefully with all the crap that the 'universe' has dealt them, we'll be seeing a bit more of season 1 Damon instead of everyone's bitch Damon. As for his wit, that hasn't changed at all. That's just him realizing he's too smart for these people XD over a year ago

I get what everyone's trying to say but , doesn't everyone not see what I see , just because he's all in love elena that doesn't mean he has to change his personality , he doesn't have to go kill everyone he sees I'm not say thing that , but he can still remain the same damon that was , funny , witty and just over the top , I'm not saying that he still isn't all those things even now , he is buts it's died down and I don't like it ... bitch with no one ounce of loyalty,i like klaus but when it comes to their relationship she is disloyal , he tried to kill her bestfriend who she has known since childhood several times , he killed elenas last family carer ,jenna, yes damon did alot of bad things but damon slowly but surely is turning good , but klaus is still his evil self and he would kill elena for his selfish reasons , and damon wouldnt do that to caroline , shes a judgemental bitch and stefans dog , over a year ago

Oh god, are people bringing up the rape thing again? Yes, Damon was horrible to Caroline and deserved to be stabbed in the eyeballs over and over again, but no, he did not rape her. I'm actually quite sure that damon will be human again and somehow ,the cure will go down his throat , only because he has been human in the book, I know they don't follow the book exactly , but they do use some storylines ...that absolutely sucks , with memory loss he wouldn't exactly be himself ...so this is quite sad in my opinion , it's kinda like saying goodbye to damon Posted over a year ago

So I do hope elena is the one who has it , and I also think there is a great possibility it might be , her entire family is like dead and also the fact that her diary burnt and her house burnt where she grew up with all her family makes me think , it was actually done , for this line of her becoming human again and losing her memory , she will have nothing there to remind her of them or herself over a year ago
