This is kind of a continuation of Emily having Edward's spot from Edward's Exploit. This time, we have Emily take on Edward's role in Edward And Gordon.

Episode 14

Emily, and James

Since Emily returned from the Steamworks, she was getting less work from Sir Tophamm Hat. Often, she had been sitting in the sheds not working, and some of the other engines made fun of her about it, and sometimes teased her. "Sir Tophamm Hat won't need you anymore." They said, "He wants powerful engines like us."

Emily felt sad. She began to cry one day, when Sir Tophamm Hat was giving the engines their work for the day. He saw that she was sad, and walked up to her. "Why are you sad?" He asked. "Would you like to pull James' passenger train for the day?"

"Oh yes." Said Emily with excitement. So they lit her fire, and she made lots of steam.

Emily collected three medium sized coaches. They were painted similar to her own coaches, but were slightly bigger. The dark green engine arrived at Gordon's hill, and felt the weight of her coaches as she pulled hard. Her wheels slipped, but she didn't stop. "I'll do it. I'll do it." She puffed.

By the time Emily reached the top of the hill, she whistled with hapiness, and continued on downhill.

Later that night, Sir Tophamm Hat spoke to her. "You have done a splendid job today. Your driver told me about your dilligent efforts about getting up Gordon's Hill. I am sorry that you didn't get much work recently, and I shall make it up to you."

"Thank you sir." Said Emily, and went off to the sheds, leaving her coaches so that a tank engine could shunt them away.

"I'm going to get more work from Sir Tophamm Hat." Emily announced to the others. "What do you think about that?"

"Rubbish." Said Thomas.

"Disgraceful." Said Gordon.

"Disgusting." Put in James.

"Despicable." Finished Henry. "I'm glad we got to say that again."

However, Emily was not able to hear them. She was so happy, and tired that she fell asleep at once.

Next morning, James was boasting about how Sir Tophamm Hat assigned him to pull the express since Gordon was not feeling well. "You watch me Emily," Boasted James, "As I rush by with the express. That will be a splendid sight for you." The red mixed traffic engine started to leave the sheds. "Goodbye everyone. Look out for me this afternoon." He said.

Emily just smiled, and went on to do her work. Today, she was to shunt some freight cars. Emily enjoyed that. She loved sneaking up on the freight cars, and giving them a bump. "Oh!" They would scream, "Whatever is happening?" Then, Emily would put them in their proper siding.

After shunting freight cars, Emily was told to wait in a siding, and have a rest. Presently, James arrived. Instead of nice shiny coaches, he was pulling two dirty coal cars, a tar wagon, and three freight cars carrying gravel. "A freight train. A freight train. A freight train." He complained. "The shame of it. The shame of it. Oh, the shame of it."

Emily giggled, and went to shunt more freight cars. Then there was trouble. "James got stuck on Gordon's Hill." Said a workman, "Can you go help him get up?" "I'll try my hardest." Said Emily cheerfully, and went to Gordon's Hill.

When she arrived, James was being spoken to severly by his driver, and fireman. "You're not trying." They said. "I can't do it. It's those freight cars, they hold an engine back. If they were coaches, then I'd be able to get up the hill with ease."

Emily's driver walked up to them, "We've come to push." He said. "No use at all." Remarked James. "You wait, and see." Said Emily's driver.

They backed down to the start of the hill, and Emily coupled up from behind. "I'm ready." She said. "No good." Said James, and the two engines started to get the train uphill.

James was cross, "I can't do it. I can't do it. I can't do it."

"I will do it. I will do it. I will do it." Puffed Emily. Her wheels slipped as she helped James get up the hill, but she was so surprised when they reached the top, and James took off quickly. "I've done it. I've done it." He puffed proudly.

Emily tried to keep up, but James was too fast for her. She was very sad about James not thanking her, but was glad he got over the hill with her help. The fireman gave her a nice long drink, and the driver said, "I'll get out my paint tomorrow, and give you a new coat of dark green. Then you'll be the most beautiful engine in the shed."

The end
Episode 2: Snowy Path

One night at Tidmouth Sheds, the engines gathered around Sean to hear his story.

"I can't wait to hear what your railroad is like." Duck said.

"Yes." Exclaimed James, "It would sound interesting."

"Alright. If you all insist, I'll tell you my story." Said Sean, so everyone listened.

"Once upon a time," began Sean,

I was working for a big railroad in the United States. One part of the line I worked on was called the Hudson Division. It was a nice place, though the weather was cold, especially in winter.

There were other engines there as well, not only for my railroad, but...

The following afternoon, Rosie and Nicholas were having lunch when they saw two boys running towards them. They were out of breath once they sat on their table. Nicholas said, "Oh, hi there! You two must be very thirsty. I'll get you both some water." After the boys gulped down the water, they thanked Nicholas and introduced themselves. "My name is Scruffy, and this is Buzzy. We're twins from Newcastle. We've been helping students in various schools and universities around the country defeat their bullies." Scruffy explained in his Geordie accent. "...And most of our attempts have been successful."...

Rosie's wounds had stopped bleeding and her bruises were getting better. Before the friends went out for the next class, she took off her bandages and threw them away in the bathroom. Rosie said, "These scars will be a reminder of what you have done for me, Nicholas." Nicholas replied, "Oh, yes, Rosie. They also prove that Jason and his gang are no match for our close friendship." "Indeed. We will surely prevail over them." Remarked Rosie. Thankfully, there was no sign of Jason or any of his gang members during the class and lunch break. It turns out that they had left the university and were...

Episode 1: Gordon, and the new diesel

It was a wonderful day on the island of sodor. Thomas was running his branchline as usual, when he stopped at a station. Gordon stopped next to him.

"Good morning Gordon." Said Thomas. "How are you on this fine day?"

"I'm doing alright Thomas." Gordon replied, "And I heard we're getting a new engine."

"That's awesome." Wheeshed Thomas, "Do you know when the new engine will be getting here?"

"I think he'll meet us at Tidmouth Shed's tomorrow morning." Gordon told Thomas, then he steamed off with the express. Then, Thomas took off with his train.

The next morning,...

As Monday rolled in, Jason blamed Scruffy and Buzzy for last night's predicament. He shouted at them, "This was all your fault. You foiled our plan to beat that hairball up again!" The duo were unresponsive to him and just went about their own business as usual, though. A few minutes later, one of his gang members came back trembling. He reported, "It looks like the hairball has found a bodyguard, and she appears to be very tough and ready to fight us back." He was, of course, talking about Rosie. This member had been spying on the friends for quite some time. Jason replied, "So, what? We will...

On Sunday, Rosie and Nicholas decided to visit Westminster and do some more shopping in Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus. Jason was still recovering from yesterday's mishap when one of his smarter group members told him that it might be easier to spot Nicholas in the main shopping districts. Jason thought it was a great idea, as in that way, they could disguise themsleves among the crowds and store displays. However, Scruffy and Buzzy were up to their usual antics, and Jason told them, "If you two don't stop your folly, then I will have to get rid of you both from my group!" The duo didn't...

It was finally Saturday morning, and the friends were getting ready for their first day of exploring London together after two days of classes. Nicholas said to Rosie, "It's another lovely day, isn't it? I'm very excited to go out with you, love." Rosie replied, "It certainly is, and I feel the same, too! Is your Oyster Card ready?" "Yes, it is. How did you get yours, Rosie?" "I bought it while waiting for the approval of my visa." "I see. Well, it's a good thing that you can buy one in the Embassy." "Yep." As they exited, Rosie called the receptionist to request the housekeeper to clean the...

Rosie's and Nicholas' friendship started to bloom by the time the second class rolled in. They met outside the hallway and went together to the classroom again just like what they did yesterday going back to their dorms. Rosie said, "I have a feeling that this will be another great day now that we're friends." Nicholas replied, "Oh, I completely agree!" The two held hands and looked at each other lovingly as they walked. The second class was about different types of musical notes and instruments, and the teacher asked the students to show any instruments that they brought and to play a sample...

Naboo, one year before the events of A New Hope.

In one section of the planet, it was littered with destroyed vehicles, ranging from tanks, speeder bikes, and even a few AT-ST's. Not far away, was a damaged Tie Fighter, next to an old Arc-170. The radio was still on in the 170.

Announcer: This is the Coruscant Broadcasting Service. Here is the news. In an isolated part of the planet, a group of Generals said, with Naboo falling into the hands of the Imperials, The Battle of Coruscant, is about to...

The sun shone over the window as Rosie got up to prepare for her first class. She felt refreshed after yesterday's long trip. "I wonder if there are any nearby cafes or restaurants where I can eat breakfast. Maybe I can ask the housekeeper." She thought to herself as she walked through the hallway. She did see one and said, "Good morning, Madame. I just would like to ask if there are any cafes or restaurants within this area." The housekeeper replied, "Why, yes. There's one just a few steps away from here." "All right, thank you." Rosie told her as she continued walking. "No problem." The housekeeper...

Excited because her dream of studying in England one day is finally becoming a reality, especially since she's a huge Beatles fan. Nervous because this will be the first time that she will be away from home and from her family. However, the fact that she is bringing her laptop and that the university has free internet assured her that they will still be in touch with each other. She is also bringing her...

Hello, there! This is Kelly, or 80smusiclover1. In this article, I will be giving my opinions on what is wrong with today's "music". Notice that I placed quotation marks on the word music because it doesn't even deserve to be called music at all. So, without further ado, let's get started.

What is exactly wrong with today's "music"? After doing some careful observations and comparisons, I've discovered three...
