Randy: Shawn! Over here.
Shawn sees Randy sitting alone in the cafe. Shawn sits down and says:
Shawn: What did you have to talk about?
Randy: I'm gonna make this short and to the point. *sigh* I'm not leaving her. I can't leave her. She needs me now more than ever. And it's the same for me. Just cuz you tell me to not be with her, doesn't mean I have to listen to you. I mean honestly, who are you to me? Nothing much.
Shawn: ...
Randy: So I'm sticking with Jamie and I won't give her up, especially to you. She is mine. So stay back from her.
Randy stands up and leaves the cafe, leaving Shawn pissed off as hell...

Jamie: Take good care of her, k guys?
Brad and Mark: Dont' worry about us.
Brad: We'll take good care of Angie.
Mark: Just like always. I can make her favorite food, my specialty pasta.
Brad: And I'll play games with her.
Jamie: *smile*
Brad: Is he done? Randy!! I said your date is here!
Randy: I heard you the first time. I'm coming now.
You can hear Randy running down the stairs and you see him do that. You smile and you see he tried working on his hair cuz his hair is a mess. You and Randy get in his car and you guys head to get dinner. You guys get it at a small restaurant and you guys order whatever. When it comes out, your digging in but Randy seems to be nervous.
Jamie: Something wrong?
Randy: Huh? N-no.
Jamie: Psh. Liar.
Randy: *smile* I'm just...kinda nervous. This is technically our first date.
Jamie: *rolls eyes* Oh c'mon Randy. We've been on plenty of dates together. What makes this different than any other day?
Randy: I dunno. Just...*smile* Your right.

Jessica: So Jamie. How was your date last night with Randy?
Jamie: It was good. We watched a comedy movie. It wasn't that funny so Randy and I fell asleep.
Tanya: *laughs* Aww. You two are like a heaven-matched couple.
The bell rings and you go to your 5th, then 6th. In 6th period, the coach tells everyone to bring it in.
Coach: Ok Jamie. Come here next to me.
You do and everyone surrounds you.
Coach: You might not have known, but the whole team and I have been fundraising for you.
Jamie: Huh?
Coach: We've raised up enough money for you to get your medicine.
Jamie: M-my medicine?
Coach: Yes. We raised 2,000 dollars plus.
The whole team screams and applauds and you feel like you could cry.
Coach: And you know what? We want to all be there to see you get your medicine. So why don't we all head to the hospital right now?
Everyone gets in cars and you get in Randy's car. You guys all head to the hospital and you walk into your doctor's office. No one else is allowed to go in except the coach.
Doctor: So Jamie. how have you been feeling?
Jamie: A little sick. I ran out of medicine but I got money for new ones.
Doctor: Oh. Well I do have to talk to you-
Jamie: They've raised 2,000 plus doctor! So I can have my medicine, right?
Doctor: Jamie. Your results show that you've been getting worse. Which, in fact, is normal for a disease. But...there are certain limitations medicines can help. For example, lets say a small group of people were minding their own business. But a big group of gangsters came and beat up the small group. The gangsters would be able to kill the small group, correct?
Jamie: I guess.
Doctor: It's just like your body. The small group of people is the medicine you take, and the gangsters are the cancer cells. The medicine won't work anymore. I'm sorry Jamie...it's too late.
You go back out the doctor's office, shocked. Medicine can't help you any longer. It's just you and your body now.
Coach: So what happened?
Jamie: I...I didn't take the medicine.
Everyone: What?!
Girl: But we raised the money-
Jamie: The doctor said it doesn't matter. It's too late now. *cries* He said...he said the medicine won't work anymore. It's not gonna help me...
You fall to the floor, too weak to support yourself. You start crying so much and everyone cries with you. Randy comes to you and hugs you.
Jamie: *cries* I don't wanna die!! I don't wanna die! Randy...Randy you said you would save me. You said you can save me...Randy please. I don't wanna die.
Randy: *holds tears back* It'll be ok Jamie. It's gonna be ok.
Jamie: *cries and yells* I don't wanna die!!!

After coming back from the bathroom, you notice Randy isn't there.
Jamie: Where's Randy?
Coach: He went outside. He said he needed some air.
You walk out of the hospital to see Randy on the steps of the hospital, sitting there alone.
