My entry for the MFC contest for January. Just something I thought of since the deadline is in two days.

She was born of heat and smoke, with the ashes of the volcanoes combining. She was a princess. The Flame Princess. It was rumored that she would grow up to be a fiery force that was both foul and fair. The people said that she would grow to a force to be reckoned with.

People grew in fear of the new princess. What she would become of was worth being scared of. The Princess of the Candy Kingdom has already warned the King of this, but of course, he was stubborn, so he gave little attention to this.

The King took a look at his child. He loved her, but he also feared that she would grow up to be stronger than him like what Princess Bubblegum had said. She was a beauty, yet so sharp and sheer...

The Princess heaved a sigh of happiness. She felt wonderful. Her first day of freedom from the terrors and fears. Flame Princess walked through the docks of the Southern Lava Sea. People stared at her in awe. Was this really the princess that they had feared for so long?

Beautiful? Yes, she was indeed a beauty.
Powerful? Yes, she was a force to be reckoned with.
Dangerous? Yes, at certain circumstances.
Cold? The people weren't really sure of this.

Also she was taught to conceal her abilities, the Princess just couldn't be controlled. Her skills were put to the test when she finally became the queen.

She was stronger than one, stronger than ten, stronger than a hundred men. But, nevertheless, she was a fairly good ruler. For a certain time...

Beware the queen...
