Humphrey's POV.
I looked down at Lilly crying. Garth was trying to comfort her. They had just learned that Fang had left the territory. Garth looked up at me.
"We have to go after him." He told me. I shook my head.
"We can't risk it. We must stay together." I told him. He stood up.
"My Son is out there. He could be killed. I must go and find him." He growled. I just shook my head.
"I need everyone here today." I said. He just growled.
"And why is that?" He asked.
"It's time to attack the enemy. We're going after them today. That is why. Now you can either go and find your son. Or you can stay and help keep our defense strong. Your choice." I told him.
"Well I'm going to fight. What about you Lilly?" He asked her. She looked up.
"I'm fighting too." She said. They all agreed. I turned to Garth.
"Gather everyone. To war." I said. He nodded.
"To war." He repeated.
"To war!" Aleu cryed. We all then headed out. We traveled in loose formation. Garth and Coy behind me. Balto bringing up the rear. When we arrived outside the plains where the enemy was camping. I counted how many wolves we had. I counted at least 45 wolves. I then counted the stone creatures. There were more than 200. I knew we were outnumbered. But we had the element of surprise. I directed Garth to take his squad and go from the right. I then directed Tony and Winston to go from the left. Me and Coy would charge at the center. I lifted my paw to halt everyone.
"CHARGE!!!" I yelled and we ran towards the enemy. A stone bear looked up at me. I broke it's head off and then jumped and broke and stone fox in half. I looked everywhere. Garth had already taken out two stone wolves and was now helping Lilly with a stone cougar. Kate was by myside. I looked and saw already three wolves had fallen. I looked over at Aleu. She seemed more fierce than all of us. At first it seemed as though we were winning. But then the stone army started pushing us back. We were getting pushed back into a circle. I then felt myself lifted and thrown outside the enemy's circle.
"Humphrey!" Kate called. I looked up and saw Bella standing above me.
"Hello. Time for my revenge." She said and knocked me out.
Garth's POV.
I watched as a female wolf picked up Humphrey and ran away with him. I knew I had to help him. A stone fox came running at me. I dodged to the side and broke it's head. I looked over at Balto.
"Form a hole through them! We have to go after her!" I yelled. He nodded and was about to do just that. I looked over at Aleu. She was crying and was to scared to move. A stone cougar came running at her. I was to far away to stop it.
"Aleu watch out!" I yelled. She just lifted her head to the cougar.
"ALEU!!! WAKE UP!!!!" A voice yelled. Then Shadow landed and destoyed the cougar. "OPEN YOUR EYE'S ALEU!!! CAN'T YOU SEE WHAT'S HAPPENING AROUND YOU?!?!?!" He yelled at her. "ARE YOU WANTING TO DIE?!?!" He yelled still fighting off enemy's around him. She looked up at him. "SAY IT WITH YOUR OWN WORDS!!! SAY IT WITH YOUR HEART!!! WHAT DO YOU WANT?!?!" He yelled. She started to open her mouth but nothing came out. "I CAN'T HEAR YOU!! SAY IT NOW!!!!" He yelled.
"I WANT TO LIVVVVVVEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!" She cried.
"ALL RIGHT THEN!!!!" He yelled and ran after his father. I looked back at Aleu and saw Fang standing next her. She looked back after Shadow.
"Go after him! We can hold here! GO!" I yelled. She nodded and ran after him.
A cave. Humphrey's POV.
I woke up in a cave. Bella had her bakc to me and was chanting something. I tried to get up but then noticed chains holding me down. Bella turned to me.
"I will destroy you for killing my mate. I will bring darkness to this world. Your here to see it happen." She cackled. I strained agaist the chains.
"Bella stop all this. This world will be blown to ashes if you release Darcia. Stop this!" I yelled. She just laughed and continued.
Shadow's POV.
I looked at my father. He was chained to the floor. I looked over at Bella. She started chanting again. Two stone humans then stood guard by her. I then jumped out.
"Sorry to keep you waititng dad did you miss me?" I yelled. He looked up as I slid down and hit the stone humans sending them crashing to the floor. I then ran up to him and melted the chains. Aleu was right behind me. She jumped at Bella knocking her down. I looked down at my father.
"Shadow?" He asked.
"Yeah, dad." I said. He grinned and hugged me.
"Hey a little help here!" Aleu called over as she battled Bella. Me and My father ran up and started helping her out. Bella backed up against a wall. She started laughing.
"The seal is already coming undone. Lord Darcia will be awaken. It's too la-" She said as Kate came jumping and ripped her head off. I looked at my mom.
"Mom you are scary." I said. She grinned and hugged me. Aleu then pushed her out of the way hugged me tighter.
"What happend Shadow?" She cried on my shoulder.
"Can we do this some other time? This thing is coming undone." I said as a giant dark paw came crashing out of the ground. We ran outside. I saw Fang getting hugged to death by his mother.
"Get back! He's coming!" My dad yelled. I looked back and saw two paws now splitting the ground. My father turned to me. "We reseal it. We just have to get everyone away." He said. I nodded. I turned to the other's.
"Me and my dad's gonna reseal him! Get back to the territory!" I yelled Fang and Garth stepped up.
"We're helping you. And don't go saying "no" We're gonna do it anyway." Fang said. I looked to my father. He nodded. Garth and Fang stepped up next to us. Aleu came forward. I turned to her.
"No Aleu. Go back with the pack. Please." I asked her. She shook her head.
"No I'm staying. I'm helping." She said.
"Please Aleu. I love you and don't want to lose you. Please." I begged her. She looked at me. She stepped up. Then she went and kissed me hard. I closed my eye's during it. It was so wonderful. I didn't want it to end. She then separated. She looked up at me.
"Just come back. Alright?" She asked. I smiled.
"But of course." I told her. She smiled and ran off with my mother. I then turned back with my father. Fang stepped up next to me and my uncle stepped next to him. Then Coy and Balto stepped up.
"Concentrate on sealing him! Think of everything that hold's you here and pushed it toward him!" My father told us. I nodded and concentrated on Aleu. How beatiful she was. How I liked her personality. How I wanted to stay with her forever. We then pushed our power toward the seal. A flash of light erupted.
Back in the territory. Shadow's POV.
Aleu sat down watching the hill. 'Shadow had to return. He just had to.' She thought to herself. Then Kate walked out and sat by her. She was followed by Lilly. Then Jenna. Then Ruby. And then Blue. They all sat waiting for their loved one's to return. They then heard a howl. Humphrey came over the hill. He was followed by Garth and then Coy, then Balto, and then Fang. They ran down and hugged their mates. Aleu looked for me. She then turned to to my father.
"Where's Shadow?" She asked. I then walked over the Hill behind her. My father then pointed behind her. When she saw her eye's widened and I smiled. She then ran up to me and me to her.
"Shadow!" She yelled.
"Aleu!" I called back. She then tackled me and kissed me all over my face. I laughed and she just laughed. She then let me up and we walked back down to the den.
2 month's later. Shadow's POV.
I was washing my fur. I was getting ready for one big party. My father came up to me. I looked at him.
"Dad, Have I made you proud of me?" I asked. My father smiled.
"I've always been proud of you Shadow. And I will alway's be." He said. I smiled and hugged my father. He then led up to howling rock. All my friends and family were there. I saw my grandfather Winston nodding at me. I could still see the cut he had gotten from the war. I looked at all my friends. Fang still spotting a black eye from a stone bear's fist. His fiance Ruby standing next to him. I also saw my sister and other cousin smiling and waving. I saw my mother standing next to Jenna and my Grandmother all of them crying. My father led me to the top of the rock to where my grandfather Tony stood. My father then went back and put his arm around my mother.
I then looked back from where I had come. There came Aleu with her father by her side. She lifted her head and I saw she had a rose in her top fur. I smiled. She smiled right back. She then stood in front of me while her father went to join her mother. Aleu looked up at me.
"Are you ready?" I asked.
"But of course." She said. We then sniffed each other. Then we nibbled each other's ear. We then both closed our eye's as we leaned in to rub noses. When we touched everyone around us cheered and howled. I opened my eye's at the same time as Aleu. We smiled and gave a passiniote kiss. My cousin Fang came over and congradulated me. I looked at my father and saw somethin I thought I would never see. Him crying tears of happiness. He smiled and kissed my mother. We all then started the moonlight howl. I looked over at Aleu.
"Are you ready?" She asked. I smiled.
"Oh yeah ready." I said and we howled our beatiful duet together.
