Luke was shaking. Tears rolled down his cheeks, he wouldn't believe it, but the proof was overwhelming. He had to.
-She isn't dead, not really, is she? He asked Chiron, pulling the collar of his jacket closer to his neck with the arm that wasn't around me. I was leaning on him. I was tired, scared, sad, and all the other things a 7 year old would be.
-I'm not sure. I think most of her is indeed dead. He answered, his tail swinging in the air.
-Luke closed his eyes tight and bit his lip. I whipped the corner of my eyes with my sleeve.

Thalia had been untouchable. She'd always stood tall, she'd always been there during a fight, she'd always made the best of things. And now she was reduced to a pine tree people would pass by every day, not knowing.

-Camp Half-Blood, Chiron started, is for kids like you. You'll be safe here.
-Well how come Thalia wasn't safe? She was right here! Luke yelled. He jumped to his feet, fists balled up. Chiron didn't flinch.
-She wasn't within the safety borders. But thanks to her sacrifice, the borders have been extanded to the spot where the pine stands. My eyes were stinging. I blinked a few times and chocked back a yawn. Chiron must've noticed. I'd read soemthign about horses havign better hearing then humans.
-It's been a long night for both of you. Three of you I should say... Chiron said. His eyes rolled a little bit to the side and looked at Grover, who'd crouched down in the corner and hadn't talked or moved since he'd brought us into the room.
-... Maybe you should go to your cabins.
-Cabins? Luke asked, emphasising the s.
-The cabins are sorted by immortal parent. Chiron explained.
-No way! No way! Luke said, I'm not leaving Annabeth alone with strangers, not tonight! He said.
-Luke, they're her siblings, she'll be perfectly...
-She's 7. She's not staying alone. Luke insisted. He looked at me in a "cue-the-big-pleading-grey-eyes-thing".

Chiron looked from Luke to me.
-Alright then, just for tonight. He said.

*******
Everyone in the cabin was asleep. There were more people then there should be in there, about 17. Luke found a spot in a corner and sat down against the wall, stretching out his legs. I sat down next to him, trying to make myself small. His leg still looked stiff.
-Are you okay? I told him.
-I'm fine Ananbeth. He said, rubbing his eyes.
-Seriously, I'm fine kiddo. Try to sleep. He said addresing my unfooled glare. He put his arm around my shoulder and tugged me closer to him. I fell asleep nearly instantly.

I woke up before Luke. 3 kids were awake and looking at me. All of them had mischivous smiles and elfish features.
-Hey kid; what's your name? The taller one, a girl with heavy black curls asked.
-A... Annabeth. I said.
-Annabeth what?
-Annabeth Chase.
-No, I mean, who's kid are you? You're definetly not Hermes.
-Well them she's unclaimed, git. A boy with a british accent and more freckles theh his heart-shapped face could handle, said.
-My mom's Athena. I said before the other could open his mouth.
-Well what the Hades you doing here? And who's he?
-He's Luke. He's a son of Hermes. I said.
-Hun, you know him right? I nodded.
-Well, if your mom's Athena you can't be here. The last girl,a tiny girl said.
-Why not? I asked defiantly.
-For starters, different demigods dont mix. Secondly, you nearly got whipped-creamed 7 times in the last night, I wouldn't risk staying in here any longer. The redhead said.
-Gordon, be nice! Look, you just... can't be here. Common, its a nice place if you're the book type.
-Books? I asked.
-Yeah, sure. And they have other stuff. They've got puzzles and maps and designs for stuff.
-Like architecture? I asked.
-A 7 year odl who's already into architecture, look at that, but sure, they've got architecture.

I didn't want to scare Luke or anything, but they obviously didn't want me in their cabin. I didn't want to leave Luke either. I didn't know them; I didn't know if there were monsters. I'd seen too many of those, and they varied. Soem looked sweet and nice, some looked fishy from the start... Then I remembered my mother's words.

"There's a camp I want you to find. You'll be safe there. Safer then anywhere else."

If I couldn't trust Athena, who could I trust?

-Will you tell Luke where I am? I asked.
-Swear on the Styx. Gordon said.
-Okay. I said figuring that meant yes, whatever the Styx was.
-Great. Come with me Ananbeth, my name is Kaitlyn. The one with dark hair said. I nodded. She extended her hand but I didn't take it, I just followed her out of the cabin. She took me to one painted grey.
-It's easy to remember which one, its the same color as your eyes. Kaitlyn said. She led me up the steps of the small entrance porch and knocked loudly. The door swung open. The girl had eyes the color of clouds on a stormy day and blond hair, cut mid-neck. She was holding a book in her hand, her middle finger as a bookmark. She had a nice smile but she still looked strong enough to kick serious butt.
-Kaitlyn? What are you doing up at this ungodly hour? She asked Kaitlyn.
-Well you uys are all awake.
-Early bird gets the worm. She shrugged.
-I had stuff to do. Anyways, found her.
-Oh. Hi, kid. What's your name? She asked.
-Annabeth Chasse.
-That's an annagram of Athena isn't it? I nodded.
-That's smart. So I'm guessing you're a daughter of Athena? I nodded again.
-Then you belong here. I'm Megara Willfern, but everyone calls me Meg or Meggy, and I'm the cabin leader here, like Kaitlyn is for Hermes. She said holding out her hand. I shook her hand.
-Comme in, we're nearly all awake. She said. I walked inside.
The bunks were pushed onto either side of the room. Drawing table took up the most space, most cluttered with papers and diohramas. Weapons, blueprints, maps and polished shields hung on the walls too. There was also a whiteboard, equations and mathematicla drawing doodled on. Piled of scrolls were propped up in the corners as well. 8 other kids were in there. 2 were working at the tables, 5 were reading in an odd language, one was inspecting a sword. I looked around in awe.
-Welcome, to cabin 6. I think you'll like it. Meg said.

Hey, posted this in the Heroes of Olympus club, and I thought you guys might enjoy it too, hope you do!

The Fighter

Woods’ eyes drifted from student to student. Some were still leaning over their desks finishing the test. Others were playing rock-paper-scissors and the popular clique in the corner was passing notes, from one cheerleader to another. The class was completely quiet, but everyone was doing something.
    All but Annabeth Chasse.
She was studying a map, adding dots and erasing them, but she didn’t seem as focused...

"No. No, no, no, no..." I moanned.
Holden was once again playing messenger.
"I'm sorry Annabeth. Her dad IM'ed this morning. She was declared dead the moment the paramedics saw her." Holden said. He wasn't crying, but his eyes betrayed him, puffy red as they were.
I curled up on my bunk, pressed against the wall and tears tracked down my cheeks.
She'd been unbeatale. Untouchable. Bulletproof. But there'd been a chink in the armor. There always is, she's said it herself. And now she was just lying in a morgue somewhere, dead.
"How could that..."
"Nobody knows. She went down fighting, Annabeth....

Chapter 6

Things were pretty calm for a few days, but then the borders started fading fast. During breakfest it was so boring that I decided to ask what was so special about the pine tree. Since it was so quite everyone heard me and stared at me. I was so embarressed. Then luckly Grover saved me and told everyone I was the new kid and had not heard the story. He then told me and I relized why everyone stared at me. I still can't believe that girl had risked her live and ended up dying because of it just to save her friends. Anyways as I was saying the borders started...

Percy's Point of View (POV) Age 20

I sat at a Cafe, tapping my fingers impatiently, awaiting the return of Leo. My ADHD was starting to act up, and I couldn't sit still. When will Leo return? Did a monster eat him?
With that lovely thought, Leo burst into the cafe yelling," Finished!" Everyone stared at him oddly as he slinked into the the seat across from mine. He was grinning happily.
"I fixed it." He said, as if I didn't hear him. " No spiders. All fixed."
"Promise?" I asked, in a concerned tone
"I swear on the River Styx."
Thunder rumbled in the distance.
"Well thats good. Your Dads the...

I sat at my desk, patiently reading "To Kill A Mockingbird" when the bell rang. A million things in my head stumbled over each other at once. The test I finished had been particularly challenging, but nothing I couldn't handle.

"Only you could actually care about physics, Wise Girl," Percy had teased me just a few weeks ago. I had laughed and told him that it was more important than he thought.

"Yes, because when I'm fighting monsters I'll really need to know E=MC2," he'd replied sarcastically.

"You never know. . ."

I snapped out of the memory and stood up. Grabbing my backpack, I accidentally...

-...Well I did warn you about giving the kid paper and pencils. Luke said from the entrance of the cabin. I paid no attention, just kept drawing.
-No kidding. We didn't think you were serious! Meg answered. She'd pulled her hair back in a braid.
It'd been a week since we'd gotten to camp, and we were still repeating the story as best as we could. Usually I either chocked up or let the story trail off. Nobody pushed me. I was still the cute/innocent/leave-her-alone 7 year old. I figured I had max 3 days before that bubble got popped.
-What'cha doing now Hadid? She asked.
Meg was calling me by...

Annabeth Chase's point of view:

I was sitting below the decks on the Argo II reading the Iliad...again.I set the book down and brushed the bangs behind my ear that were hanging in my face. I sighed and rubbed my face, wondering when we would get there and if Percy would remember me.Everything had been so messed up since he disappeared. We got Jason who had no memory, Piper and Leo. All of which, were above decks.I walked over to my bunk and looked at the pictures I had pinned up.All of the ones of me and Percy Grover and Sally Jackson,...

CHAPTER II
HERA'S MOTHERLY FORM(JUST AS BAD)

'watch out!!'
i ducked as an arrow whizzed past my head.
'are you OK?' a girl with curly dirty blonde hair ran towards me.
'yeah... i'm cool, Becky', i replied, sighing.
'you don't look that way.'
Rebecca 'Becky' Jones was a new camper, and one of my new best friends. she is a daughter of Apollo and unlike her dad, she's an awesome musician (shhhh!!!!)
'yes', i said. 'then shook my head. 'no. i really don't know. everything's happening so fast. can you believe it? only a month and the Argo's ready!'
'Leo's awesome', Becky nodded, her curls bobbing up and...

ARGO II

i narrowed my eyes as Leo led me towards bunker nine.
'are you sure you're ready to show everyone?' i asked.
'it's ready', he smiled, leading me forward.
i shook m y head impatiently. i unsheathed knife n stared at the blade. it's history was painful. i felt a strange lump in my neck.
'coming?' Leo asked me. 'why did you stop?'
'keep walking Valdez' i said, 'why isn't piper with us?'
'she's getting worse in archery. Chiron insists on practice.'
'and Jason?'
'er, he went to Morpheus's cabin'.
'oh'.
'why are you always thinking so much?' Leo asked me.
'huh?' i asked.
'you're always thinking!'...

Wet drops slowly fell on my pillow. Like every night. I missed him. You know who. My prince. My boyfriend. My hero. My Percy.

I tossed and turned, the blankets twisted in a not. My hair was a big blond mess and my tank top was turned around. I tried to fix myself. I tried reading. I even tried designing a house on Sims 3 on my laptop. Nothing seemed to fill that emptiness. It was so hollow. My heart was aching. And nothing ever worked. I would wake up like this every night. Dreaming my green eyed boy still was sleeping soundly in the Poseidon cabin. Still waiting for me on the steps of the...

I lead my cabin glumly the whole morning till afternoon. I have notice something was also different about them, I think I’m affecting them with my mood. I apologize about the way I act today. At last, it’s free time already. I sit near the seashore and I didn’t care to get my clothes wet. I want to be alone, cry alone, where no one can see me and I was thinking the beach is the best place to let out my feelings, because the sea just reminds me a lot of Percy. It makes me feel that he’s here beside me when I watch the waves roll by.

“Where are you Percy…” I touched the water from...

It was a typical day at camp, and everyone looks busy. Some Hephaestus campers are shining off their spears, while some Ares campers are chasing off some newbie again, others like the Apollo campers are sculpting some statues, even Satyrs are eating cans happily, and it was too good to be true.
I don’t know what’s taking Percy so long today. I have been waiting here outside my cabin for almost an hour. I know clearly last night that he told me to wait here by morning and do our cabin inspection together. But what is taking him so long? I’m getting hungry for breakfast. I didn’t want...

I haven’t discovered who I am, but it all started a very chaos afternoon. It was really tragic for me, I don’t know who to turn in to, or asked help to. I mean it was hard, I don’t even know who my mother is, all I know my dad told me she died long ago. He remarried but I felt like an outcast, so I ran away from home. I walked down the streets, it was dawn and I am alone, I don’t know where to go. A strange woman from afar kept looking at me, so I tried to avoid her, but everywhere I go she’s there. The alley lights turned on, and it’s about time for sun...
