1x03 The Mark of Nimueh

Arthur: Seize her.
Gwen: No.
Arthur: Guinevere, I'm arresting you for crimes and contraventions of the laws of Camelot, that you did practice enchantments.
Gwen: But what have I done? I haven't done anything! Help me, please!

1x10 the moment of truth

Arthur: They'll toughen up.
Gwen: They need to.
Arthur: How are we doing for weapons?
Morgana: There isn't much, but we should be able to scrape together what you need.
Gwen: It's not the weapons that worry us. It's having enough people to use them. We think the women should be allowed to fight.

Arthur: Tomorrow morning, the women and children should gather what belongings they can carry and go to the woods.
Gwen: We're not going anywhere!
Arthur: I know you want to help. The women can't stay here. It's too dangerous.
Gwen: The women have as much right to fight for their lives as the men do!
Arthur: But none of you know how to fight.
Gwen: The more of us there are, the better chance we stand!

Gwen: Arthur, Hunith made you some food.
Arthur: Thanks.
Arthur (mutters): I think.
Gwen: Food is scarce for these people, you shouldn't turn your nose up at it!
Gwen: Oh, no. I, I shouldn't've spoken to you like that. I'm sorry.
Arthur: Gwen.
Gwen: I'm sorry, I don't know what I was thinking. It won't happen again.
Arthur: Guinevere!
Arthur: Thank you. You're right. And you were right to speak up, I should've listened to you and Morgana. [mutters] We're going to need all the help we can get.
Gwen: We'll be fine.
Arthur: How can you be so sure?
Gwen: Because I have faith in you. I mean, we all do.
Arthur: Thank you.

[He reaches Gwen and shakes her hand]
Arthur: Are you frightened?
Gwen: Not in the slightest.





1x12 To Kill the King

Arthur: Guinevere, I...want you to know that your job is safe. And that your home is yours for life. I guarantee you that. I know that under the circumstances it's not much but, erm, anything you want, anything you need, all you have to do is ask.
[Arthur begins to leave but pauses and turns back around]
Arthur: I'm sorry.
Gwen: Thank you, Sire.

1x13 Le Morte d'Arthur


Gwen: You're not going to die, Arthur. I'm telling you. Because I know that one day you will be King. A greater king than you father could ever be. It's what keeps me going. You are going to live to be the man I've seen inside you, Arthur. I can see a Camelot that is fair and just. I can see a king that the people will love and be proud to call their sovereign. For the love of Camelot, you have to live.

Gwen: I knew it. I said you'd be alright.
Arthur: I can remember you talking to me.
Gwen: You can?
Arthur: You stroked my forehead.
Gwen: I was tending to your fever.
Arthur: You never lost faith.
Gwen: I was just talking.
Arthur: Tell me again what you said?
Gwen: I don't remember.
Arthur: Yes, you do.
Gwen: No, I don't.
Arthur: Come on. Something about "the man I am inside."
Gwen: No, I never said that.
Arthur: Guinevere...
Gwen: I have to get these washed, Sire.
