Kay so I have a friend and she has an issue with low self-esteem.

She's always saying she's ugly, when actually, she's really beautiful.

She just refuses to see it.

So then I asked her if it's okay for me to anonymously post a picture of her, and the comments will prove who's right.

She agreed, but I'm going to take this down in a few days.

Past Experiences:
-"Kids made fun of me and said I had double chins. And this one girl who was really skinny would say mean things to me."
-"And one summer, this boy played this mean joke on me, pretending to be in love with me, and then everyone else at the event when it happened pretty much joined him, and became part of the joke. I knew they were joking, but it was horrible."

1-2vampire Jesus she's not ugly, whoever said she was are most probably jealous girls who pick on others just to increase their ever-lowering self esteem. Lenzetta-Lovett I love her hair, it's lovely! I don't see why others would make fun of her...Maybe they're jealous XD But your friend is really pretty! She's got a great smile and pretty eyes too :) I saw this saying online that said "Opinions are just like a**es, everyone has one, but most of them stink." Well let me just say, if kids make fun of her for her looks, than their opinions must REALLY be like the rear end because that's just a suckish opinion! lol But your friend is pretty :D

Best:No, I don't play an instrument. Although in Grade 3 and 4 my school made us learn how to play the flute, but I don't play it anymore.

The Pros and Cons of being a Bassoonist

I should probably post this on the Bassoon spot... but whatever. :P

Pros:

- It's a beautiful instrument that should be treasured.

- Also, almost no one plays it, so they're in demand in orchestras and whatnot. HIPSTER INSTRUMENT FTW.

- It's a swear word in German and Finnish and also possibly Italian.

- Sucking on the reed gives me many fond memories of being a baby. ^_^

- If you put a glove on top of the bell, and play a low B flat, the glove will inflate. So freaking cool.

- You can poke/hit people with it accidentally-on-purpose.

- It gives you an excuse to be unladylike. In the sitting position,...

I'm Not Your Leader

You guys know that, right? I don't have any special power or right over the rest of you. And I thought you all knew that, but lately it's seemed like maybe not all of you do.
So, just to clarify: just because I'm oldest according to the tree doesn't mean that I'm some sort of Head Biggerstaff. There is no Head Biggerstaff. There is no one person who gets to make all decisions in a very dictator-like way; we just have to all pitch in and make the best with what we're given.
And yes, maybe lately it's been looking like I've been making decisions, but it's never been me alone, it's always me and...
