How does it feel to be voted fan of the month?
It feels great! I really wan't expecting it all that much. The last time I won fan of the month for a club was on the Disney club easier this year and before that was a few years ago on the Disney Princess club. I guess I'm more active than I thought.
Why do you think the fans chose you?
Probably because a lot of the polls on the club are asked by me but they're usually beauty polls. I think there are others with more original ideas but it still feels great. I guess I must do more than I think I do.
Do you think you deserved to be fan of the month? (be honest), if not, who do think should have been voted fan of the month?[/b
I don't think I do because most of what I do is just beauty polls and there are others who come up with more original questions. I guess my choice would be dimitri_.
[b]Who is your favorite animated heroine, and why?
It's a tie between Ariel and Melody, both from The Little Mermaid franchise. They're smart, kind, sweet, strong, heroic, gorgeous, brave, adventurous, curious, relatable, and well-developed.
Who is your least favorite animated heroine, and why?
Princess Irene from The Princess and The Goblin. I can't stand her! She's stupid, useless, annoying, and the biggest damsel in distress EVER! Even Bella Swan from Twilight is less of a damsel in distress than her. She's well aware that all she has to do to save herself from the goblins is sing and step on their feet but she doesn't do it! She's just so stupid! When she tried to save somebody she just ended up falling and needing to be saved again just from taking one step! She's a MAJOR PAIN!
What is your favorite type of heroine, and why?[/b
The kind that is adventurous, free-spirited, fights for what they want, and longs for something more. I like them the best because they're just so interesting and they show us that we shouldn't just settle but that we should go for what we want, which a lot of the time is something greater than themselves. It's your life so you shouldn't just settle for something if you're not happy because then that just means you'll never be happy.
[b]What is your least favorite type of heroine, and why?
The kind that are painfully stupid and useless. I know that not every heroine can be Ariel or Mulan but they at least have to be interesting and not painfully useless. The Classic Disney Princesses aren't like that at all, despite what people think. When I think of heroines that are painfully stupid I think of ones like Giselle (Enchanted), Irene (The Princess and The Goblin), Clara (The Nutcracker Prince), and so on. When you have a stupid character they are either really funny or really annoying. You can have a funny heroine like Dory from Finding Nemo but you have to make sure you handle it carefully. Plus you have to make sure that the heroine isn't too daity and weak. Like with Clara, a rat threatens to hurt her kitten and all she does is ask her wooden nutcracker what she should do. YOU'RE HUGE COMPARED TO THAT RAT! STEP ON HIM! KICK HIM! DO SOMETHING YOU DIMWIT!
What type of heroine do you wish existed?
One that was brought into evil, not like Meg, by being born into an evil family or being look down upon that she becomes evil. But I would like them to meet someone, a love interest, that helps them see the light.
And finally, do you have anything else you'd like to say to the CAMH fans?
Thank you all for nominating and voting for me for fan of the month! Despite all the problems going on with fanpop, no meebo and the updates being messed up, I come here everyday because I love you guys so much. Once Again, thank you so much!
