Curing Involuntarily Twilight association

Whether you hate Twilight so much it fills you with a burning rage so powerful it's full extent can only be expressed through the medium of interpretive dance, or love it so much you plan to sail out to international waters to avoid those pesky laws that prevent you from marrying a book, or perhaps even exist in the non crazy middleground between the two, overexposure can be a pain. Especially when it gets to the level where suddenly everything becomes linked to Twilight. You hear the name 'Edward', you think 'Cullen', the word 'sparkles' you think 'vampire', the words 'howler monkey' you think 'hey, that's the first thing today that didn't make me think of freakin' Twilight...except it totally just did...dammit!'
The best way to overcome it is to remember all the other things linked to those words, so in the interest of curing involuntarily Twilight association here are some other:

Edwards - Edward Scissorhands, Edward Rochester (Jane Eyre character), Prince Edward (Enchanted), Edward Norton, Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist character), Eddie Izzard, Mr Ed, Ed westwick

Bellas - Bellatrix Lestrange, Belle (beauty and the beast), Bela Lugosi (Dracula!), Isabella Rossellini

Alices - Alice In wonderland, Alice Cooper, Alice Longbottom (Harry Potter character), Alice Ayres (Closer character)

Jacobs - Jacob Marley (a christmas carol)

Esmes - Esme Pasquale (character on Dexter)

Twilights - The Twilight Zone, Buffy s8 comic book villain, the actual time of day

Things that sparkle - Diamonds, glitter glue, stars, those annoying cards where the sparkles get all over you and never come off

People-shaped things that sparkle - Lady Gaga, Liberace, Occasionally Elton John, Cher, Adam Lambert, strippers, clumsy children doing arts and crafts, People who just recieved those annoying cards where the sparkles get all over you and never come off

Forks - Actual forks that you eat with.

Nessies - The Loch Ness monster

Person whose name sounds a lot like Stephenie Meyer, which keeps causing me to get mixed up when talking about vampires - Stephen Moyer from True Blood

Vampire stories - Dracula, Buffy the vampire slayer, True Blood, Anne Rice's vampire chronicles, Moonlight, The vampire diaries, The lost boys, Vampire: The Masquerade, Blade, Angel, Daybreakers

These were just off the top of my head, so if anyone has anything they'd like to add to any category, or any new category you'd like to start mention it in the comments and I'll edit it in.

An Article from a Twilight Fan

First off, I would like to say that I have absolutely no problem with the C.A.T. spot and have just joined myself. If anything, I think that this spot is a good idea and is definitely NOT an anti-spot. The point of this article is to explain the point of view of a Twilight fan that does not just like the series because Edward Cullen is SO HOTTT <333, Vampires are AwEsOmE, etc. etc.

STOP PEOPLE!!! Stop your too Critical Analysis sometimes.Stop your phony rebukes.Just STOP!!!

And accept movies the way they come.

I think i can speak for all(or at least most)authors when I say It's FINE!!! If someone offers you a direct line to the movies and the author refuses because the director says some plans that differentiate from the book and someone refuses then they are just stupid!!!

Twilight Affects So Many things

I was following an online series called the Hillywood Show. It was two girls acting in Johnny Depp roles such as Sweeney Todd,Ed Wood,Edward Scissorhands.Here is a link of one of their link.This is their link
But after the release of Twilight they have stopped doing the Johnny Depp impression which made them famous they started doing twilight video's but even worse . Its Twilight Music Video's. So that means cheesy music and annoying dancing and skimpy outfits.
It reminded me of how twilight is no longer a personal thing no matter where we go we will see twilight dangled in our faces in merchandise,...

It is Hazardous see New Moon in The Cinema

- Yes i know this is extremely late but i just remebered what i was going to write :)

I was brought with my mam and sister to new moon on the 20th of November. Personally i was'nt really bothered about going or not so i went so at least i would be able to say what i think about it.
The movie started at 7 and and at 6:20 there was at least 60 people waiting in the cinema most of them girls from the ages of about 10 to 55 many people at the back of the line were pushing to the front without mercy, squishing the others.
(Oh i must remind ye that i live in ireland and at the moment only girls from...
