Whether you hate Twilight so much it fills you with a burning rage so powerful it's full extent can only be expressed through the medium of interpretive dance, or love it so much you plan to sail out to international waters to avoid those pesky laws that prevent you from marrying a book, or perhaps even exist in the non crazy middleground between the two, overexposure can be a pain. Especially when it gets to the level where suddenly everything becomes linked to Twilight. You hear the name 'Edward', you think 'Cullen', the word 'sparkles' you think 'vampire', the words 'howler monkey' you think 'hey, that's the first thing today that didn't make me think of freakin' Twilight...except it totally just did...dammit!'
The best way to overcome it is to remember all the other things linked to those words, so in the interest of curing involuntarily Twilight association here are some other:

People-shaped things that sparkle - Lady Gaga, Liberace, Occasionally Elton John, Cher, Adam Lambert, strippers, clumsy children doing arts and crafts, People who just recieved those annoying cards where the sparkles get all over you and never come off

Forks - Actual forks that you eat with.

Nessies - The Loch Ness monster

Person whose name sounds a lot like Stephenie Meyer, which keeps causing me to get mixed up when talking about vampires - Stephen Moyer from True Blood

Vampire stories - Dracula, Buffy the vampire slayer, True Blood, Anne Rice's vampire chronicles, Moonlight, The vampire diaries, The lost boys, Vampire: The Masquerade, Blade, Angel, Daybreakers
