Alot of people have wrote some amazing articles stating their opinion on what they think season 3 will be like as well as Delena in season 3...I thought I'd add to that list.
This is a basically my thoughts on a few things concerning some ships.
You know it’s become a motto for me: Katherine is the past, Elena is the present, and Bonnie is the future (in reference to Bamon). So me knowing this I have built up the patience for Bamon….to wait it out ….to see the steps of progression.
Season 3 is suppose to be the season of the Originals as well as the season for Delena…and Delena is coming pretty damn fast…..which is great news for me because I want the damn thing done and over with so we can get to the real deal aka Bamon, but in all honesty I feel even if Delena is season 3 or part of season 4 ….I still couldn’t count them out….and no it has nothing to with the fact that The Vampire Diaires main plot is the freaking triangle because the show is not called The Triangle Diaires…the main freaking plot can change ….I mean as the title says The Vampire DIARIES and we haven’t seen a diary since when…a few episodes into season 1….but I’m going off topic.
I can’t count Delena out for the simple fact of Elena….until she is a vampire and is “stable” I really feel that Delena could continue….meaning in the books (I haven’t read the books just the Bamon bits) Elena…changed into a vampire and forgot all about Stefan and was basically all up on Damon. I know the show is nothing like the books but the writers could still use this storyline and change it up. I hope the writers don’t do that but reality has a way of doing things I don’t want it to do. *knocks on wood* In all honesty when Elena was force fed the blood even though what Damon did was so beyond assholish…I still thought in the back of mind that it was great that Elena would be a vampire because of the book tidbit.
I believe in season 3, there will be affection from both counter-parts (in reference to Delena) but I believe once Elena is a vampire then we as viewers will actually get the Delena. I feel the writers would use Elena’s transformation as a basis for Delena….they could even blame the intense, overwhelming emotions she has and that could impact her decisions concerning Damon in some way. The reason why I think the writers will use Elena vampirism for Delena as a basis is because of morals. In every show there are subtle morals…I won’t say they all have this…or that it’s easily readable but most shows have an underlining moral or something….it may not be as blunt as “how could you cheat on him” but it’s still there. I feel that for this show there not just gonna make Elena break up with Stefan to go to his brother…thats just…there are no words…*pauses*…that is portraying to an audience that yes it’s ok for brothers to do this to each other or that yeah you can switch to another brother if your not satisfied…..and I know some of you are thinking/saying who takes the show that literal…but seriously…it’s not all that skeptical. I mean you can see some morals in Gossip Girl and I barely watch it. Examples of that would be: Relationships might not work out but friendships are what matters most. Your closest friends could wind up being your biggest enemy or vice versa. You can’t trust everybody. The one person who you may not have given a second glance to could be the most important person to you in the future. So yes those are some very hidden morals in Gossip Girl but they exist….and yes most of them have slept together and it seems they don’t give a hoot about “the your friends should not date your ex code” but The Vampire Diaires is doing something different with BROTHERS and I don’t think they’ll just portray Delena in the light most of the fanbase would want it to be…especially since it’ll make Elena look like a slut in all honesty.
I feel that Delena is very hyped up to the point where I feel annoyance and aggrevation…because so many people don’t seem to care about “bros before hoe’s” or “blood is thicker than water” and better yet they just don’t seem to have a good reason other than “they’re hot” and “Damon wants Elena” I mean seriously you gotta give me something to work with here and not just those lame ass reasons…I want to have respect for you and those reasons are not helping. I just have a feeling as I have a feeling about the whole Elena and Damon thing as stated above….I just have a feeling that Delena won’t be as great as it’s made out to be because it won’t live up to some people’s expectations and people will be disappointed….and if they’re disappointed they’re not gonna just roll with it and keep their mouths shut…they’ll be very vocal and the writers will get the brunt of the attack, and in all seriousness it won’t be the writers fault…Delena just won’t live up to the hype…and no..it doesn’t matter if Nian are dating in real life…(if they even are) sometimes in life things are not how you always expect them to be.
The Delena fanbase (most of them, some of them, whatever) feel they make 99% of the fanbase of TVD which most people know is a load of bull shit. Thats like me saying (making a reference to spongebob) that people talk loud when they wanna sound smart …which is bullshit too cause your only making yourself out to look like a dumbass….which Delena fans do have a tendacy to be loud and vocal and the TVD family winds up looking crazy. I feel that the Delena fanbase at the most (this is the highest I believe their fanbase could make up) is 50% I feel everybody who is not a Delena shipper is on the other half (not including multishippers). I feel that once Delena starts there will be a shift in power so to say…now yes more people can join the Delena fandom but I ultimately feel that some Delena shippers might start multishipping or just flat out leave that fandom. I would say after about the end of Delana that the fanbase will be around 35-40% of the fanbase…it may not seem as much but you also have to take into affect other building realtions in the show aka Bamon (and more Stelena). There have been some Delena fans who have admitted to their chemistry….who wouldn’t mind seeing Damon and Bonnie as friends, and last but not least who wouldn’t mind seeing them to together at all (I know shocker right?…I heard it from the source)…so thats gotta tell you something.
Alot of Delena fans are saying if they don’t get this or that they’re not watching anymore…and to me not only is that disrespectful but it’s like damn, who gave you the right…to even threaten some one who’s putting time, effort and some of their money into it…who are you to complain about every little thing that doesn’t go your way when other ships like Bamon get even less. Thats like basically complaining about your food not being the way you want it to be and then throwing it away because your frustrated when their are starving kids who wouldn’t complain at all (yes that could have been a harsh comparison)…. I would seriously like to see them write a script, and no it won’t be as easy as writing little fanfics. Another thing is if your gonna stop watching TVD and leave then freaking leave…the less people like that around the better…as long as this show is on air their is always a possibilty that it will collect more viewers….and I think people seem to forget that there are a whole nother fandom out there …..people who enjoy TVD and who may or may not ship a couple but you…we…us….would never know this because they’re not into the online forums or spots like we think most are. So if your complaining and you want to leave then by all means I will come to you and open the damn door for you so you can get your ass out…..and if TVD falls because of the sudden decline in fandom I hope it falls on a ship that I can actually respect….maybe still showing Stelena together or something. It was good while it lasted *shrugs* and even more enjoyable because people wasn’t complaining and were instead appreaciating the writers efforts even if they did sometimes get frustrated with them.
I am in no way a Stelena shipper….I like them and they’re cute just like I think Beremy is cute…but they’re (both of the ships) so sweet, I can get cavities…Stelena is like those romance novels and and romance movies and yeah they’re not perfect but they do always find each other in the end…but I don’t like romance anything I like something intense and Beremy is like those high school crushes that you always see in disney movies or abc family or hallmark and I can not stand those movies either. This does not imply in anyway why I ship Bamon except for the intense part. As stated before I like them and I find them interesting…some more than others…. but they’re just not for me. I just wanted the viewers/readers to know that yes I’m a full fledged Bamon shipper before they jumped to any conclusions at all.
Wow this was long as shit….but I was thinking about this yesterday as I was trying to go to sleep….anyway these are just my opinions and they’re in no way bashing the Delena fanbase…because if it was, you would know it, because I would have told you.
