After posting a Bamon article about Kat Grahams news that Monnie was a Tweet Trend after 3x05, which I found a little shocking considering they haven't really been in the runnings as a main AU ship for the past 2 seasons, a fellow Bamon Fan, Konta pointed out to me that Monnie wasn't just a Tweet Trend because of Monnie Fans, but because of Delena Fans, Forwood Fans AND Janna Fans and just how many other couples would benefit from the Monnie pairing if the writers decided to go with it.
Now while I'll admit to liking the idea of Monnie BEFORE the 3x05 episode, I never lost sight of my true goal which is Bamon and I actually only saw friendship potential from Monnie after 3x05, while the majority seemed to see more and maybe there could be as I think kat & Zach do have great chemistry together, but my point is that we are BAMON FANS! And we have been fighting & hoping for them for far too long to get side tracked this early or late in the game.
I spoke of Monnie to some Delena fans and they seemed thrilled of the idea. Not too many of them had anything negative to say about the ship and while I knew why, I never considered The Forwood or Janna benefit from The Monnie pairing, which is making Monnie more popular than they actually would be if so many other couples didn't stand to gain from their pairing, so I'm telling The Bamon Fans to not be fooled, distracted or blinded by this Monnie crap.
Monnie probably would be refreshing and a peaceful couple because they are good friends who seem to have always been there for each other and understand each other, but we are BAMON FANS for crying out loud who have taking waay too much harrassment and waiting to allow the writers of this show to think we're willing to settle for anything other than our beloved Bamon pairing! Not only have we taken too much from other ships and waited too long to quit or get side tracked, but Kat Graham herself has taken too much from the haters just for being a threat to their ships, so from this day forward I vow to focus on our number 1 and original goal. We should ALL take this pledge because some of us are getting sidetracked and fooled by other shippers and Bamon enemies.
No more Monnie, Stefonnie or whatever other Bonnie ship twitting or Cw commenting or whatever. Team Bamon & Stelena from this day forward! I have a few other ships I'm a sucker for that are competing couples of Bamon/Stelena like Blaus & Steferine, but I know what's important at the beginning and end of the day and you should too.
I know it was a beautiful thought, but stop helping Bamons enemies make Bamon threatening couples more popular than they actuallly are and turn up the Bamon representation. Take the pledge!!!
