Okso, a few things first, 1. This is based off the end of Crispin At The End Of The World and Crispin At The End Of The Time with major spoliers so if your reading this amazing book series then I suggest you finish book 1&2 and im book 3 get to where Crispin meets Owen, k??[: And 2. Im still reading the third one, thus Courtney's [Who is Troth] end will be different and 3. Troth is Courtney and Crispin is Duncan im changing things around, and if I decide to mention Owen and them then no, Owen will not be based of Owen, ok? Enjoy[:

Dead. Bear was dead. All I try to remeber is the good times, but their werent many, so let me start from the begging. I was born with a broken mouth, meaning I cant talk right. My parents didnt want me so they gave me to the woman who helped my mother give birth. Her name was Aude, she lived in the woods, not too far from the town were we would go to cure peasents, and help woman give birth. Our life was peaceful, I didnt care that I was disfigured, I was happy with Aude. I learned much. But I was quite bitter on the inside, always asking my self why this happened to me. Had the devil touch my mother? I tried not to beleave so, Aude didnt beleave in religion like most people. She wasnt a cristian. Then one day a man, who was large, and badly wounded, came with his 'son', Duncan who was my age so about 13 his hair to his sholders and his body brusied. I started to form a friendship with this boy, but he was also the reason Aude was beaten to death. Bear, Duncan, and I had run away hoping to find Iceland only to get caught up with a war. Bear had never fully healed after we left the woods and him getting caught in the middle of a war did not help, he died in his sleep. So now it was just Duncan and I.
"What do we do now?" I asked him, after we had burried Bear.
"We try to find Iceland." He merely shrugged.
"But Duncan...what if it dose not exist? Then what will we do?"
"I dont know, Courtney. We can figure that out if it happens."
"BUT DUNCAN! YOUR NOT FREE YET! NEED I REMIND YOU THAT YOUR STILL A WOLFS HEAD! DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU?! And us....?" My temper got the best of me, Duncan really made me mad sometimes, he never seemed to worry enless he was about to fall to his death. We started walking. Not caring were we went, it seemed. We hadent spoken for days. But then we came to a small town that changed our lives forever.
