It wasn't Duncan."Alright pretty lady."The man who had hold of me said."I have a gun,and if you scream,I will not hesitate to shoot you."He pulled me out on the street,and I made it look like everything was fine.I had to act fast.When the man opened his can door,I kicked him in the crotch and ran as fast as I could.I ran and ran,and it looked like the man who had tried to kidnap me was far away,but I wasn't too sure,I hadn't run that far.Then,when I wasn't focused,I ran into someone."S-sorry."I said.But the person grabbed me.Was it the kidnapper?Did he come around the other side?I struggled out of his grasp."Princess,I'm not the kidnapper,relax."The man pulled back his hood and I saw Duncan's face smiling at me."How did you know?"I asked."I was there the whole time."He replied quickly."Figured you could get away,so I waited until you kicked him to turn him in.Then I ran through a shortcut to where you were,and waited for you."He pulled me close."I can't believe you even tried to leave me princess.Can't beieve it at all.You never,ever leave my side,or things like this happen.What if I hadn't made it in time?The man would've caught up to you wouldn't he?Don't be so stupid,Courtney.I'm here to protect you,don't leave,I love you."He said softly."I have to go Duncan."I replied."No you don't!""Yes Duncan I do.I can't put you in a relationship this abusive anymore.I never wanted to say this...but ever since I met you,you've loved me more than I love you,and you know it too!"I started to yell and cry a little.Duncan looked at me.He wasn't sad,or angry.He just said smiling;"No,we both love each other a lot and you know it.""You're wrong.I-I can't be with you anymore,I'm sorry."I said something very painful and untrue."I don't love you anymore.""Yes,yes you do."Duncan said.Now he was sad."You want me to believe it so you cn leave me and make the biggest mistake of your life,but I don't Courtney.I don't,and I won't let you go."I cried into his chest and said."Okay.I don't know how you persuade me into doing things like this."He ran his fingers through my hair."Now that we're here,I think it's almost time to go home."He said to me."Oh,and uh people in the steet are watching us."He whispered.I looked at the people huddled around us."What?I don't get cable!"A lady said."Oookay."Duncan stared back at them to make sure they wouldn't stalk us and then said;"Oh,crap.I have my stuff in the rental car,so we'll have to return it first,but to get back to the airport again,we'll have to wait forever to get a taxi!"He groaned in frustration."I know soemone who'll be willing to give us a ride."I said smiling.Duncan got into the rental car and drove away to return it.While we were bringing it back,I called the cabbie who's newly discovered name was Sam,who said he would be glad to come get us.We waited a few seconds and Sam came."Hi Sam!Thanks for doing this!We really apreciate it."I said."Don' mention it.So is this the husband you were talking about before?"He asked as Duncan glared furiously at me."The one and only!"I saidnervously."Boy,act normal please.No need to be that macho around me. kno the WHOLE story.Including the TV show.""Courtney why?"He groaned and whined."I...wasn't thinking sorry."We got to the airprt,and I gave Sam a kiss on the cheek and a one-hundred dollar bill."Thank you miss!"He sai and drove away.And I have no idea if it was a hallucination or not,but I swore I saw a halo above his head.Duncan saw me stare."D-did you see that?"I asked pointing."Yeah.You kissed another man!No I'm kidding.I saw the halo."Duncan said sweetly.He held me so close to him,I could barely breathe.He would not let me go.We had finally gotten on our plane,and he kissed me all over,and held me really tight."Duncan what's your obsession?"I asked.He just laughed.Ifell asleep very quickly,surprisingly,and woke up to cramps and Duncan saying something while rubbing my stomach.I pretended to be asleep so I could hear what he was saying."I hope you're a girl.I want a mini princess.Just like your mother.You'd be beautiful then if you were just like her,gorgeous.If you were a boy,I hope you would still look like your mother.I want you to get all of her traits, because she'll be a better parent then I will.I'm too mean.Your mother will always try to do what's best for you though.And I know because she's always thinking of me.And then she'll always be thinking of you when you're born.I'll probably be out of the picture.....I don't care though as long as she doesn't throw her future away and become a stay at cramps and such,hula-ig would have added to the intense hip pain with all of the motions!"All I said was;"I'm so glad I didn't leave you.""I am too."He replied walking over and embracing me.Then,without even having to ask he said;"Well,I better head to the grocery store to get the "essentials."See you babe."I said goodbye,and then I went to pick out a movie.
