Vampire Diaries; Chapter 2.

".. Excuse me?" I asked, bewildered.
Duncan smirked and ran his hand through his thick hair. He then looked over at me with the same hostile look. Our eyes locked again but this time I was glaring. Anger boiled inside of me like there was no tomorrow.
"Exactly, who do you think you are?" I grimaced and stuck my finger into his ripped chest.
"That maybe a mystery from now... til forever." He smirked.
Ring.
He swiftly stood and snatched his books gracefully. I watched intently as the most rudest boy in the universe had hurt me without knowing. I shook myself awake and grabbed my books. I didnt know why and apparently I didnt want to care... But I had to find out why he was treating me so rudely when we barely spoke a word to eachother.
"What did you do to him? Stick a pencil in his hand?" my head shot up in the direction of a familiar goth girl.
"It seems like it, doesn't?" I sighed and returned my notebook into my bag.
"Courtney.. don't let him get to you. He's just trying to prove himself as the new bad boy." Gwen laughed lightly and followed me to P.E.
"Yeah.. well, Im not going down without a fight. He hates me, but he doesnt know me. Which I think is rather childish." I forced the plastered Blue double doors open and let Gwen in first. I didnt care how or when I was going to confront Duncan Salvatore. But I did know that I was going too. Nothing will stop me. Nothing..

P.E. flew by quickly by how much I was getting hurt. I mean.. Who in their right mind hits a girl in the face with a dodgeball?[ /i] I replenished my face with a splash of water and reached for a random towel in the locker room.
"Did you see that new guy?," A girl squealed. "He's so [i] hot! "
I rolled my eyes and threw the towel into the dirty clothes pile and started to strip myself of my gym wear. I felt oddly uncomfortable. I was the only one in P.E. to actually not have the swimmer body that every girl yearned for. But.. I guess thats little old me for you. Plain and ordinary. I pulled on my remaining piece of clothing and walked out of the locker room. Gwen met me outside of Biology and we chatted for awhile. Gwen was basically the only girl that wanted to actually know my opinions. Yeah there's Bridgette but ever since she hooked up with Geoff. She only cares about partying and surfing. But, how can you surf in cloudy Vancouver?
" Hello? Earth to Courtney?" A pale hand swayed in front of my face, I immediately reacted by jumping.
"Oh, crap! Sorry, Gwen. What were we talking about again?" I asked, rubbing my temples.
"Nothing. Its lunch time." She laughed and started to venture towards the lunchroom. I groaned and mentally slapped myself. I was a total idiot. I followed Gwen into the small cafeteria and felt myself ponder each table for the strange Salvatore.
"Looking for someone?" A smooth voice murmured in my ear. I jumped once again and my reflexes took the better of me. My hand balled into a fist and I jammed it into the stranger's stomach.
"Ow!" I yelped and carressed my hand. I glanced at the stranger and found out it was Duncan. "You broke my hand!" I growled. Everyone then looked at us. I turned a deep Amber but still glared at the Salvatore.
"Correction: You broke your hand all on your own, thank you very much." He smiled cooly. Butterflies once again invaded my stomach. My knees started to shake incredibly.
"Bite me, Duncan." I still held my hand in pain and sent daggers at him.
'Let me help..." He suggested and started to pull me out of the cafeteria. I tried to wiggle my way out but his strength was too much for me to handle. "You already helped enough! Now, let me g-" He smashed his lips against mine and played with a strand of my Mocha colored hair. He pulled away and looked horrified.
"Im sorry... I have to go.." He quickly let go of me and soon left me alone in the hallways of Bathory. I couldnt believe it. Duncan Salvatore had just kissed me and left. Was I that Horrible? I traced my lips with my unhurt hand and thought.

Im so screwed....
