Midnight's POV

We heard thre scream three more times before we decided to see whats going on. I mean we were only eight, what could we do? We followed the scream, until we came upon a girl. I tried to step, but I noticed a big drop, and almost fell. Blue pulled me back. For being my little brother, he seemed like a big brother to me. We crouched down, behind some brush. Blue noticed something. "Vampire bites," he wispered.
"You've got that right," someone said behind us. I suspected the vampire. I suspected black hair, pulled back, with a widdows peak. I suspected a cape-like jacket. Wrong. I turned around. It wasn't a stupid vampire from the Twilight Saga, but he had red eyes. Blue stood up. The vampire just used his mind to throw him against a tree. He charged at me. He was right above me, when something kicked me. I held my hands up, and it was like time stopped. The girl stopped screaming, the vampire was hovering above me, and Blue, I don't know about Blue. I picked up a thick stick. I was about to test the "Draclua Theory," as my mom called it. I started time again, and the vampire fell, biting the ground. I stabbed him in the back, where his heart is. He screamed in pain, and died. I looked at the girl. Looked like she died too. "Well, that's two less vampires we have to deal with," I said. I ran over to Blue.

Blue's POV
I had the air knocked oiut of me. My back, obviously, hurt. I groaned. I heard Midnight sigh. I opened my eyes and saw thhe vampire woth a take in its heart. "You killed it?" I asked.
"Yup" She replied.
"Awwwww!!!! I wanted to kill it!" I pouted. She slapped me in the face.
"YOU WERE KNOCKED OUT CCOLD!!" she yelled. I smirked. She rolled her eyes. She sighed. "Well, if he tried to get us, he got our parents already. Were should we go?" Midnight asked me.
"Ready to go to the "Big Apple?"" I asked her.
She smiled. "Your serious?" she asked. I nodded. She did a little happy dance. I laughed. "What?" she asked.
"Nothing," I chuckled. Midnight helped me up. We started walking towards a bus stop that would take us to NYC.

Midnights POV
I sighed as the bus pulled up. "Ready?" I asked Blue.
"Ready as I'll ever be," He said.
We boarded the bus. I felt a strange feeling that someone was watching me. I could tell Blue felt the same. I turned around and no one was there. I turned back around and there was someone standing in the rode. "Could you just keep going?" I asked the driver. He nodded and beeped the horn. He didn't move. "Ugh, I'll be back. I'm going to talk some sense into this guy," I told Blue.
He grabbed my arm. "We're eight. Your eight," he said.
"Exactly I'm convincing."
I got out of the bus. I scratched my head. "Umm, could you get out of the rode?" I asked, with a hint of anger. He picked me up, and threw me on the ground. The impact was so hard, I broke my arm and I started to see lights. The driver blew the horn and my brother rushed out of the bus. He looked at me.
He got up. "Move," he ordered the guy. He smirked. He came at my brother, then he stopped, not able to breathe. Blue had his hand up. He seem to be sucking the air from where the person was standing. Then, I passed out.
When I woke up, I was in the hospital, in NYC.

**A couple years later**
Blue's POV
We didn't really have a home. We just wondered the streets. We had already known we were werewolves. I served as the dog from time to time. We were 8 then. Midnight had cut her hair short. We didn't have a leash, so I didn't wear one. I bet it was pretty odd seeing a young girl being followed around by a big wolf.... but whatever. I was wrong. Someone had called animal patrol. They took me from Midnight. "BLUE!" I heard her scream. I was snapping at the people. One knocked me out.
When I woke up, I was in a sanctuary, in a zoo? ( It was a couple years before Midnight got taken into captivity) There were carmera flashes, blinding me. I growled, then howled. That quieted the crowed down. I patroled the fence, panting. Kids stuck their hands in to pet my, but their parents took them away. There was one little girl that I spotted. I stopped to look at her. She reminded me of Midnight when she was four. People started snaping pictures again. I ran from the fence. I started knawing on a thick stick that I found. Suddenly, apparently a child was unsupervised, because he was in the sanctuary. The other wolves were charging at him. Did I mention we didn't have anything to eat?
