Yeah, I know, this is pretty quick, but I'm doing it for all the love you guys have given me :D On with the show!
Six months were spent hunting the cosmos. By the end of it Abigail looked almost eight years old, despite being six months. Amy was getting more and more irritable, and the Doctor was getting desperate.
“Come ON!!!” he yelled. “Focus, focus, focus!” There was a groan, and the Doctor yelled, “He is NOT on Earth, we checked already!”
Abigail ran across the console room. “Daddy, let me try.”
“No! The TARDIS doesn't quite know you yet.”
“Daddy! I got this.” She pushed him aside and began typing very fast on the typewriter. “All the possible places he could be... and x's over where we've been already. And where does that leave us?”
The TARDIS sighed.
“Exactly.” she proclaimed. “Trok 3, home planet of the Krot.”
“And what makes you think Rory would be there?” Amy asked.
“Mum, there's only one reason why the Krot's would've been chasing you last year.” Abigail's fingers moved incredibly fast around the console as she spun dials. Almost like, the Doctor realised, a flying-the-TARDIS dance.
“And that is?”
“Time Lords, Dad, Time Lords! We are the last Time Lord and Lady in the universe- and don't you dare bring up the Master, I know he's dead, I saw so much when I was inside Mum and he was returned to the Time War and killed- but my point is-” she flicked the stabilisers off “-that they want the plethora of knowledge inside our heads! From the beginning of the universe to the end, from destroying civilisations to making tea. They want it all! Rory is just their bait. They know that Mum will go after Rory then they'll grab one of us and dissect our brains!”
“Oh, well that's pleasant!” Amy snapped.
“I know.” Abigail beamed at her mother. “Which means we have to be careful when we rescue my eccentric uncle Rory who I only knew for an hour but I still know he's eccentric. Is that weird?”
The Doctor laughed. “Yeah, but Uncle Rory is pretty eccentric.”
“Doctor!” Amy roared.
“Well he is!”
“No! I mean, this place... We've been here already!”
“How the hell can you tell?” The Doctor asked.
“The way the TARDIS is moving underneath us, maybe?”
“I think this is the dungeon.” Abigail said softly.
Amy poked her head out the door- and shut it. “Well, we found him. But there's a problem.”
“What is it now?”
“About ten of those Krot things are guarding him. Also... there's another TARDIS.”
“Oh, I can take care of that.” Abigail peeked out of the TARDIS and, flicking something on her sonic screwdriver, pressed the button. All ten of the guards slumped to the floor. But then the TARDIS door opened. “And this, is Trok 3, a very interesting planet...”
“Ah, Rassilion!” Abigail slipped back in the TARDIS. “It's Dad!”
“What? Which one?”
“I dunno, I think it's Ten."
"Ah, Abby! Why didn't you sonic them away?"
"I didn't think of it! And he's got a blonde woman with him.”
“Rose, then. They must've heard us from 2012!” The Doctor slumped against the captain's chair. “Now what? We can't go out, not without creating a massive paradox.”
“You can't go out, but I can.” Abigail made to move, but she froze as someone knocked on the door of the TARDIS.
“Hello? Anyone there?”
Yeah, it's a bit short. And yeah, I brought back the TARDIS from 2012. And yeah, I may have just created a giant paradox. Dun dun duh! You'll have to wait til the next chapter!
