Alright, so this is sort of in conjunction with a lot of other soapbox articles, namely Temptasia's two articles on link and link. It is also a sister article to thecon's link. Additionally, it's minutely related (like a very distant cousin) to megloveskyle's article on link. But I really wanted to stress the importance of constructive criticism here. Lately I have noticed a swell in the amount of inappropriate comments. Comments that have sexual innuendo, are hurtful, or are just plain gross, and most of the time they have nothing to do with the topic at hand. What I fail to grasp is why people feel like they need to do this. I can't understand why they can't control themselves and write something appropriate or nothing at all. Is it a lack of sense of humor? Do they not realize that people spend a lot of time contributing to this site and a comment like that can make all their efforts feel wasted? Or do they not...

I have had technology since I was three. Playing link and link on my SNES against/with my family (parents included!) were part of my childhood. I came onto the internet when I was around eleven, still fueled by a need for technology, rarely seen without my Gameboy and link in it. I had to, as most people, find a place on the internet to settle into. I tried many places, first setting myself up a site at link, probably back when Dave and papa were still there and hadn't even started to think of Fanpop yet.

As I grew older and more knowledgable about the internet and life in general, I went searching...

the other day I made a pick (I think it was a repeat) about how you find out about fanpop so I decided to answer that question right here... because Im bored.

Well anyways, one day I was searching for some episodes of smallville because I was downloading them from limewire and it took way to many space in my computer (stupid me). So I found out about this webpage, I thought it was just a webpage that posted videos but than I looked to the mid-left of the page and I saw something that said featured pick and than in a box it said

what is your future justice league member? and it annoyed me because...

If I added a H to the end it'd spell watch, yes, lol.

Anyways I have a pet peeve here :) I have never been bothered by the things that happen, the bullying I didn't attack over, the "optional" picks never bothered me...but the pet has now met my peeve and that is these spots/clubs to "help" Fanpop.

The message I always thought Fanpop was trying to give here was to have fun. Enjoy the content, enjoy the videos, links and images posted and have discussions over things in the forums or picks or soapboxes. But with these little clubs I feel maybe the people in them have forgotten what Fanpop should...

We've noticed that quite a few of the fanpoppers have shared a ton of awesome personal pictures in the spot image galleries. Temptasia and alinazeer have shared pictures of their kids. Johnminh has posted some great pictures demonstrating the flexibility of his legs as well as his face. PkmntrainerJ has put up a bunch of hair photos. And DrDevience has shared personal photos of her travels all over the globe not to mention her snazzy Fanpop gear. We also have noticed that users like to mix up their user icons every so often to keep things exciting and fun. You acted and we responded by building...
