Hi, I made a list of GOT characters ^^
This is base on how many fans they have on Fanpop, I did go around and search a bit.
Here you go:

Rogue475 Really? Tyrion isn't in the top three? He won a Golden Globe for his work.

Articuno224 It's sort of funny how Tyrion doesn't have that many fans on his spot! But when we talk about characters on this spot... Tyrion is always one of the most popular.

TheHound1 Joffrey never seems to make anyone's list, except mine! He was a great character. Obviously not meant to be adored, but his scenes were all memorable and as a character he was a crucial one in the first four series. I also liked him because of the fact that he seems to have been derived from real life historical characters, such as King John, Richard the second and such. Having a nasty king who did anything he wanted did happen occasionally in the real world.
