This is something that I really do not understand. First off, let me say that I do not think that Finn and Rachel should get married so young, I was hoping they would just have a long engagement.
But, more importantly, who are we or anyone to stop them? They're both 18 (which means they are adults) so they are allowed to do what they want and if what they want is to get married there's nothing that anyone can do to stop them. So there's no reason why people should be disappointed that no one has stopped their engagement.
Put yourself in their shoes for a minute. If you were madly in love with your significant other and he/she proposed wouldn't you want to say yes and get married? Everyone needs to stop being so rational about this, and instead look at is as two people who are madly in love with each other. Wouldn't the next logical step be marriage? I mean sure, they are a bit young but I think young people know more about love then adults do sometime.
Now. Onto this Finn disappointment that soo many of you seem to harbor right now. Listen to your logic. You are expecting a boy that is totally madly head over heels in love with his girlfriend to suddenly regret his decision and call off the engagement... now does that really make sense?
People gotta stop getting so worked up about their engagement and just let it play out.
