my hamster is Jake he is a Syrian but luckily he doesn't make that much mess. first u put your hammy(hamster) in a ball or you put them in a play pen if u have a nice brother or sister they might watch your hammy 4 u. ok 1st u need 2 take out all there things like food bowl water bowl wheel any toys and a there house thingy. once you have done this you need 2 rummage through your hammy's cage 2 see if they have any things like chews or anything like that. next u need 2 get a bin bag and empty out all the bedding and stuff. after this u need 2 disinfect your hammy's cage and wipe it down then u need 2 put down a new layer of bedding 2 to 3 cm thick. Next clean any ove the other things like whhel or house thingy . then give them new food and water u should change your hammy's food every 2 days and there water every day. after this put every thing in like you wheel toys chews food water and anything else.finally u need 2 put your hammy back in and let them enjoy there new cage
top tip:every week if u can try and put different toys and chews in so your hammy has something different so they don't get bored.
