Now here's the thing that seems to be the popular topic now. Harry Potter books and the Twilight series. First I'd like to point out I do not call Twilight a "saga" is because well if you look it up you will know why. There's this whole big clash of the Twilight fanatics and the Harry Potter fanatics. I just need to vent out on how I feel about this situation.

Okay if you love Twilight than that's fine with me. I respect your opinions, but to me the book was terrible. You can instantly tell that it was Meyer's first book she had ever written. I only hate the book, I don't hate you for liking it neither will I say you are stupid for liking it. Unless you become negative towards me and say I did not read the books completely, that I'm a bitter person, or that I'm just jealous of Meyer. Etc, etc. I don't want to go on, cause I've been called many things; but fact is I just like Harry Potter. If you want to argue with me that Twilight is better, than you better have a legit argument.

Here's the thing I've been hearing about what Twilight fans had to say about Harry Potter. That there was no love in it at all and that Twilight had more love in it. Okay first let me define the term "love" by wikipedia.

Wikipedia: "Love is any number of emotions and experiences related to a sense of strong affection and attachment. The word love can refer to a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes, ranging from generic pleasure ("I loved that meal") to intense interpersonal attraction ("I love my boyfriend"). This diversity of uses and meanings, combined with the complexity of the feelings involved, makes love unusually difficult to consistently define, even compared to other emotional states."

So what they're say is love is not just couples' love. It means many things.

In Harry Potter there was a whole bunch of references of love. Harry's parent's love for him led to their deaths after trying to fend off Voldemort. Lily's, Harry's mother, love was the thing that helped him survive. Okay throughout the whole book, all his friends, he loved them all. That was what helped him eventually defeat the antagonist. Harry eventually by the 4th book began to have romantic interests with a few female characters. So you should understand what I mean.

Now in Twilight, Bella just noticed Edward because of his dazzling looks. She begins obsessing over this guy after just one glimpse. She knew nothing about him. When they do finally go out, she just keeps detailing how Edward looks. That's annoying, unnecessary details, just bores me to tears. It's amazing even how someone can finish the first book in a day. So Bella is just really focused on this guy's looks. She says nothing about Edward's personality, nothing. Um Edward is in fact pretty abusive and obsessed over Bella. Okay first for those girls out there. What kind of guy are you looking for? If you love Twilight, probably just like Edward. No. You do not want to get involved with someone like Edward. Edward forcefully drags Bella into his car, whatever, I forgot. Now women you cannot let the guy take control of the relationship, neither should you. That's a bad relationship you want to get out of quickly. But because of Edward's looks, Bella is blinded to that fact Edward is not right for her. This is not love, it's lust. Lust which she will get over soon and she will be asking, “What did I ever see in this guy?”

It's pretty amusing, but Bella's situation reminds me of this story in mythology, something like that. Well Bella was in fact the love interest of two guys of course. Edward and Jacob. Edward was this awesome hot guy to her. Jacob was not so much, but he was the actual good one. Now in the 3rd book Bella had two choices, Edward or Jacob. She chose Edward which really hurt Jacob. Now I find this ridiculous. Jacob was simply to good for Bella. He stood by her side in the 2nd book in her time of need, yet Bella had to go for the original man candy.

After hearing some debate on various spots around here, I've decided to thoroughly analyze an issue that I found kind of interesting, Voldemort vs. The Volturi.

By "Volturi", I'm talking about the main three, Aro, Caius, and Marcus. And on the "Voldemort" side, It's Voldemort, Bellatrix Lestrange, and probably a few more assorted Death Eaters.

After throroughly analyzing this issue, I'm forced to conclude that the Volturi side would probably turn out victorious in a fight, assuming they can get off their thrones and face the challenge, that is. My reasoning is as follows.

First off, in the...

Warning: This is quite long.

Before I begin, I would like to say that this is my personal opinion along with evidence to support my opinion. You are free to disagree with me, but please, no hating. Also, please do not accuse me of not reading the books. I have read each of the novels in the Twilight "Saga", from Twilight to Breaking Dawn. I have also read all of the Harry Potter books (numerous times), from Philosophers Stone to Deathly Hallows.

It annoys me enormously, hearing people say that Twilight is better than Harry Potter. I personally believe that Harry Potter overshadows Twilight in...
