If you were Rowling, how would you write the Harry Potter series? Would you change anything?

Probably Harry will have a little sister with the name "Mary Potter"

I love the books as they are. The only thing I would change would be to let Severus Snape live or at least die in a different matter. And maybe skip the epilogue.

I love the books the way they are.

But, if I HAD to change something, I would change Dudley becoming nice. I'll admit, I hated him but I loved him for what he was, you know? I didn't think it fitted in with the story. (Make sense)?

As for relationships, I would put Hermione and Viktor together.
I loved them. I'll admit, I'm totally OK with the Ron and Hermione relationship but I think I prefered them with other people more. So, I would have Hermione and Viktor together (cause I love them) and Ron with Luna because I think they would have been an AWESOME couple and would have been hilarious.

I also would have kept at least one of little Teddy's parents alive (Tonks and Lupin) cause, I just feel so bad for him.

Well, for one, Fred would NOT have died, Bellatrix would've been killed by Neville (I always thoguth he was going to kill her, seeing as what she did to his parents), I would prefer Lupin didn't die, but I think that would have sort of ruined the book and Luna and Neville should have gotten together. I thought that would've been cute.

I love books, but I think she had a bit to push the publisher for that to be the last book because I think the part where they go in search of the horcruxes was somewhat compressed. To destroy the first horcruxe was almost half of the book (I was reading that part of appearance of the patronus snape and see that it was not going to end). You must really lucky to find one of the horcruxes in that safe.

There was nothing waiting for Harry was a Horcrux. When I finished reading I UAHHH!.

I think she managed a decent end to this beautiful classic of modern literature (when my French teacher refers to HP, said: "You know that old ...) LOL

I would skip final epilogue and not let Fred die

1.) I would not have killed off Lupin. At least one Marauder deserved to survive and come to lead a happier life.

2.) If I had killed Lupin (and Tonks) I would not have turned Teddy into a combination of Harry and Neville in bringing-up matters. (Parents killed in a war & the kid raised by grandmother.) I would have turned him into what Harry could have been. Raised by his godfather (of course not right away but some years later when Harry and Ginny got their lives up and running.)

3.) I would've left out the entire epilogue "19 years later".

4.) I would not have thrown away Barty Crouch Jr. so soon - he had yet a lot to offer as a Death Eater and a character.

5.) I would have given at least some dignity and respectability to Peter Pettigrew. I really don't like when a character is written so black-and-white or in this case just black; a worthless worm, traitor and a murderer. The least Peter should've get to do is pay off his life debt to Harry. And I probably wouldn't have killed him off in sucha pathetic way. It just crowned the whole--- Jo must have really, truly hated Peter's character. :P

Of course, I love the books just as they are. All so Magical and amazing!!
BUT, Instead of Fred and Remus dying, they would be alive(Along with some other characters). And Harry and Ginny would not be together..

No i would not change any thing because i realy fancy the all the books

The Deaths of som many characters,Ok if it were truly up to me non would have died, but since we have to accept the fact that death is a part of life, then I would just have spare three of all the characters; 1. Fred,(For this I could say he was so young and had much to live for, but the truth is that he was my favorite twin.) 2. Remus ( Finally, when he had something to live for, when he had someone to love him despite of his 'furry little problem' JKR kills him of. 3. Tonks( She had a son to return to, a life to live and I had grown rather fond of her and picturing her lifeless is just too shocking, too unreal...) -
I see the reason for Dumbledore's death (Harry has to learn how to fight for himself, thus the mentor has to die, but was it really nessecary for Sirius to die?)
Also, neither Dobby nor Hedwig would have died.

..uhm..I will just change some.I want Hermione Granger and Harry Potter will be together in the end. That's all I want to change because the story is so great!!

1) I would get rid of the epilogue in the seventh book. I really think that it was just horrible.

2) I wouldn't have made Tonks and Lupin a pair. To me, it just seems that Lupin became a bit of a wussy after getting tied with Tonks. Although, I don't know who else I'd pair them up with, but I've always had this weird like for Lupin/Sirius slash.

3) I wouldn't have killed Sirius. I wouldn't change the way he died, because the only other option I could think of is dying from a 'normal cause'. And that just doesn't seem right for him.

4) No Harry/Ginny. That's another pairing that I didn't like in the end. Plus, I've always had this problem with Ginny. Mostly because at first she was really shy and all that, but then she suddenly turned to this hot 'dare devil' chick. Even though it's not that realistic, I would've paired Harry up with Hermione. Or Draco. But that's just my slash-like kicking in x).

I'd elaborate the epilogue a bit more to show what the main characters did with their lives.

I probably wouldn't have killed off Sirius, Lupin, Tonks, and Fred.

I LOVE the HP series!

But still there are some things that I would change if I were J.K Rowling.

1) First I would never put Harry and Ginny togheter. I just don't like Ginny that much.I mean,she's ok,but still I think she's not right for Harry.I think Harry schould end up with Cho Chang .

2) I would change the thing that Harry,Ron and Hermione hate Draco.I would put him to be bad as he is in the 1st book ,but at the end of the first book,he would realized that he was a bad pearson and he would change to good and he would become friend of Harry,Ron and Hermione.

3) I would put Hermione and Draco togheter.I mean,I like Ron but I like Hermione,Harry and Ron togheter as a just best friends more.

4) I would put Luna and Ron togheter cause I think they would make a great cuple.

5) I would change some deaths in the books. I would'nt kill Sirius,Fred,Dumbledore and Hedwig cause they were ones of my favourite caracters and I was very sad when they died.

6) I would make Harry's parents become alive again in book 7.

These are the things I would change.
