huddysmacked I don't want to argue and I'm a totally open minded Huddy but I do have to disagree with this, I can't see House turning his feelings for Cameron into feelings with Cuddy because I think the feelings for Cuddy came before, like I know in early seasons we didn't hve much huddy but we do have the 20 years past. Which I belive developed hi feelings towards Cuddy and I think the way House sees Cuddy is really different than the way he "loves" Cam. I mean Cuddy has always been a strong woman, she has always been the boss. And well Cam was really imature in the first seasons (now she is not) and I think House sees them differently. Besides what about s4? I think we saw more strong feelings in there. Maybe i don't understand the Hameron world but I'm not blind, I know there's something between them but I don't think it's love or at least the kind of Bf/gf love. I think that the Chameron wedding did affect House bcause it was like when Wilson go with Amber, he was jealous and afraid of losing his friend. Cameron obviously is now a friend to House and I think he was scared of losing her friendship. I don't know if I'm clear but well I read it and I reviewed it. This isn't bashing. I just throw my opinion in here. Peace

kellinator Okay, I am a Huddy but I come in peace, I just wanted to read this article to see what you were talking about. It's an interesting theory, and I enjoyed reading another take on the last few eps, but I will respectfully disagree with you on most points. If this comes off as being offensive at all, I apologize, it isn't my intent at all, I love debates though lol. First of all, while it is true that the hallucinations started at the end of "Saviors," I believe that it was because of Kutner's death (The writers and actors say this as well). He admitted in A House Divided that he had not slept since Kutner's death, so he obviously felt guilty over the death, since he didn't see the signs. I think he is hallucinating Amber because even though Wilson doesn't blame House and has forgiven him, House still has supressed guilt (and TPTB back this up as the reason for House's hallucinations). I also don't believe that House hallucinated Amber sitting on his lap in "Wilson's Heart" because of feelings for her, that scene gave him the epiphany about "electricity," which is what he needed to think of the DBS. Also, I believe that his misunderstanding of Cam's feelings in Saviors did play a role, as did his hallucinations, but that was because he thought he had lost his "mojo." The entire episode he was afraid he had lost his mojo- he couldn't figure out Cam or Wilson, and Taub thought of an idea he felt he should have thought of). The fact that he was unsure of himself directly relates to his guilt over Kutner's suicide. So at the end of the episode he thinks he has his "mojo" back- he solved the case and figured out Wilson's plan, but Amber comes back to remind him that he's still guilty. Now on to A House Divided. When he said "I don't want Cameron," it sounded very matter of fact to me, and I just didn't see the knowing smile on Amber's face that you pointed out, but thats up for debate I guess lol. Also, I really cannot wrap my head around the idea that House would want Chase DEAD, even in the darkest place of his mind. I find it incredibly herd to believe that House would remember the body butter of some stripper 9 years before, and also, how would he know that she would be wearing the same body butter? Seems pretty crazy to me. I think that Amber (again with the guilt card), merely suggested to House that he remembered, to make him think he tried to kill Chase, thus making him feel guilty once again. If Chase had died he would have been "resonsible" (though not really) for the death of another "young do gooder." I think House already felt guilty that Chase almost died, at a party HE had put together. Now onto UMS and BSN. Now I know I am a Huddy shipper and I am obviously biased, but I feel that you are implying that House has no feelings for Cuddy, which is sort of insulting. I think it has been proved time and again that he is more than just physically attracted to her. I would site references but then this response is already too long lol. Also, I would venture to say that House has been taken care of by Cuddy many more times than Cameron, and he has truly depended on Cuddy many many times. Also, the most poignant and revealing scene in UMS for me was the story Cuddy told about her auditing his class in college. In this scene hallucination!Cuddy basically tells House that she has had feelings for him since college, and that he is not "just an asset" to the hospital. The fact that House thinks he is only of professional importance to Cuddy has always been on his mind for a while now(long before hallucinations happened), and he wants to know if he's more than that (which he is). In TSS he asks her "Why do you care if I'm happy?" and she gives him a non response, so he continues to wonder. In Saviors he questioned her motives but she escaped before answering. Especially this season House has wanted to know that he means somehting to CUDDY. So I don't see how hallucination!Cuddy was Cameron at all. In his perfect world Cuddy chooses him over her baby, which has been a source of jealousy for House ever since Painless. The point I'm making here is that House has been grappling with feelings for Cuddy all season, and wanting her to admit that she loves him and that he deserves her. He has been grappling with this even before he kissed her in Joy: In Adverse Events he wanted Cuddy to "see him in a different light," and I don't see how him wanting Cuddy to see him in a different light has anything to do with Cameron. I guess my main point is that I don't see why they would have all this buildup of Huddy (basically since mid season 3) to make it all about Cameron in the end. That just seems rediculous to me and TPTB as well as the actors have stated that House and Cuddy do have deep feelings and affection for one another, and House's hallucinations prove his deep need and love for Cuddy. Okay sorry this is so long, you don't have to read it if you dont want to lol, its just my opinion. Btw, Cake and HC were talking to me as I wrote this, so thanks guys :)

misanthrope86 Shit, I hope a Hameron fan reads this at some point. I guess I should have made it clear that this is just one perspective that I have on this whole topic. I'm not saying that this theory is exactly the way that it is. David Shore has explicitly said that he doesn't want Hameron to happen, so this elaborate theory is highly unlikely. It is just a series of connections that I have made that can be an acceptable explanation of the events for Hameron fans. And to be perfectly honest, that is the main reason why I shared this. I have been really... disillusioned with Huddy fandom recently and so I wanted to share some views with Hameron fans so that we can talk about Hameron in a positive way. I appreciate your comments and that those are your opinions, but I guess I am a little disappointed in the response to this so far. It is not intended to be against Huddy at all. It is just some connections that my Hameron brain made. And I also think that the Huddy explanation is credible as well, [b][u]so please appreciate that this is an alternative viewpoint, not an [i]incorrect[/i] viewpoint.[/u][/b] Oh, and: "[i]House would remember the body butter of some stripper 9 years before, and also, how would he know that she would be wearing the same body butter? Seems pretty crazy to me.[/i]" The point with this is that Amber is House's subconscious and the subconscious remembers everything that it sees and hears, and I mean everything. So that is why House remembers the body butter. There is extensive psychological research on the subject.

The abreviations confused me a lot and im not sure which bits he hallucinated or what the hell is going on! Note to self: watch the episodes! oh how i miss the earlier seasons, the good old 'traditional' House episodes... ummmm as a Hameron and a huge fan of Missy I agree with her! House sees himself in the position of others and uses those situations to draw conclusions about his own life, so to me it is perfectly plusible that he could easily transfer his feelings from one person to another. It fits with his character, and to be perfectly honest he is hallucinating! Not in a great state of mind so who knows how his feelings are jumbled up and how they express themselves.... Anyways all this stuff is very subjective and i think that it will always be like that and the writers never use black and white so thank you to Missy for showing Hameron fans your thoughts!
