Ok this is my first article ever so be gentle if its not in the best contexted.
There are alot of poeple right now giving there opinion on the episode "Unfaithful" and i just wanted to give mine own, on the song.
I would love if everyone stated there own opinions as well, in the comments :).

My thoughts on the song is that its set into 2 parts:
1)The jewish song part(i don't really know the name) and 2)'You can't always get what you want'

In the beginning of the song its a simple melody thats not really apart of the song yet then the music pauses. When the music pauses we see here House and Cuddy talking. Then we see them just talking about the weather (i mean literally i'm not being sarcastic). House starts the conversation with this and Cuddy responds easily. Then House mentions the party trying to see if Cuddy would ask him to go. Cuddy does respond but by answering and then bring up the weather talk again (still not being sarcastic). House response is to make lite of the (kinda getting ackward) moment and makes a joke about cuddy sister(and im guessing that cuddy isn't so cool with her sister). Cuddy still is not getting to the point just yet, and responded like how a friend would joking around with him again.
House waits to see what else she is going to say but is to scared to see what she would say.Cuddy takes a breathe ready to say she wants him to go but House looks at her and she hesitates and thats what House takes it as a sign that Cuddy was going to tell him sorry and take pity on him. House doesn't want to hear it so he just walks out the door, leaves and says "have fun". Leaving Cuddy wondering if she messed up really bad and actually hurt his feelings.
I believe thats what got everyone mad at either House or Cuddy -> Cuddy for hesitating and House for not letting her have time to say what she wanted and taking the pause as pity rather than she was afraid
Then they leave there seperate ways.
Now the music begins again and the melody is picked up again starting with the Jewish song in a very slow tempo and getting faster. when the tempo is slow we see Cuddy holding the baby and theres a whole lot of people at the party (im assuming everyone except House). Then when the tempo is increasing we see 13 and foremans relationship was fine all along and the were just playing House. House pause to take a slip of his drink then starts the tempo same speed (slow then increasing). The picture then cuts to Cuddy handing the baby to Cameron and going to answer the door. The tempo is very fast at this point and we see Cuddy at what seems like a hopeful moment but then she sees that the people on the other side of the door were just her parents(i think). She greets them and lets them in. The tempo slows down again and the picture cuts back to House.
The song then switches to You can't always get what u want. Which in the song the line is "You can't aways get what you want,no you can't always get what you want, but if you try sometime u might find, you can get what you need."
Well in that part u see that the picture cuts into THREE different parts. Foreman with 13, House than Cuddy. When the screen is on Foreman and 13 House is playing 'You can always get what you want' then cuts back to him. The screen is still on House while he plays 'no you can't always get what u want'. The goes back to Cuddy at her party when House plays 'but if you but sometime' then cuts back to House and he plays the final line 'you can get what you need'
I don't know if its me but it seems like House is near tears when he plays the final line for
himself. Like he doesn't believe that he can get what he needs even tho he is trying in his own little way. I think House sees that Cuddy got what she wanted (a kid) but he can't get what he wants (Cuddy). But, from what she said to him earlier maybe she doesn't want him so why try at all.
On a side note:OMFG HOUSE WORTE A SONG FOR CUDDY WHEN HE WAS KINDA SAD AND THINKING ABOUT HER
