Ok, so here is the chapter 13. You know how they say 13 can be both lucky and unlucky? Well.... You're gonna find out in a minute if it is a lucky number when it comes to my fanfic (:C
They didn’t even get to do the interview. Why? Because Lisa fainted a few minutes before camera was on. The first thing she remembered after hitting the red carpet, literally, was waking up in a hospital bed. She opened her eyes and saw Hugh standing at the other side of her bed. His eyes were puffy as if he was crying.
“Hey” she said quietly, a little bit ashamed of what happened on the red carpet.
“I know you had an abortion, Lisa. Those things are written in your file.” He snapped leaving Lisa really confused and more ashamed than ever.
“I…” she tried to explain
“You thought I shouldn’t know? How could you do that? It was my child too!” Hugh was yelling
“Why would you know, it wasn’t like you were gonna divorce or anything!” Lisa was sobbing, Hugh didn’t listen to her, he just continued yelling,
“Says here you had it done 2 months ago and that the fetus was a month old. That means you were pregnant a month before you left. I suspect that’s why you left! How could have you hide that from me?”
There was a silence for a minute as Hugh was waiting for Lisa to justify her actions. But she didn’t speak out/
“Ok… I get it. You and I are over. Forever.” He said teary-eyed and left her, alone, crying. Once again.
Lisa hadn’t notice that the TV was on only few minutes after Hugh left. She whipped her tears with her sheets and saw what was on. It was the awards show, live. They were just about to name the winner in her category. The host said who the nominees were; her name was up there too. She should have felt excited, but she didn’t. She couldn’t be.
“And the winner is…” the host opened the envelope with a name in it and read it “Lisa Edelstein, House m.d.”
She couldn’t believe what was going on.
“Congratulations to Lisa, we all wish you get well soon!” the host said, and the camera showed the audience clapping. The camera showed House md cast and Robert was the one who got up to except the award instead of her.
As son as he got to the stage he started his speech.
“ I know Lisa would love to be here tonight, but as she once said- “Maybe you can’t show up in order to win”.” The audience laughed as he continued
“I’m sure she is really happy right now…”
“What an irony” Lisa thought, “what an irony”.
Yup... it was unlucky this time... I'm really like DS, aren't I? (:C

This is a ridiculously short drabble post that I wrote like, five minutes before this because I am hungry and all I had all day was Pepsi. It could be taken as either Huddy or Huli, or even both, lol.

There were too many consequences; the backlash would be cruel and harsh, and she's not sure if they could live through it.
Too much was at stake; too many people hurt. What was to become of their careers and relationships?
But then he kisses her, and she forgets.
Just for a little while.
"I love you," She feels him whisper it against her lips, and she knows then that she doesn't care anymore.
He is all she needs.
