It was a beautful Feburary day. The memebers(and honary memebers)of the SOS Brigade were relaxing outside. School had ended an hour ago, but the group decided to stay a bit longer. Mikuru was serving tea, Yuki was reading, Ryoko and Tsuruya were babbling, Kyon and Itsuki were playing some game called "Monopoly", and Haruhi was thinking. Just thinking. She tapped Ryoko on the shoulder. "Ryoko, your'e pretty trustworthy....can you keep a secret?" She asked, slight nervousness in her voice. "Sure." Ryoko said, scooting next to Haruhi, who whispered something in her ear. "I won't tell anyone!" Ryoko said.
"Thanks, Ryoko."
Haruhi ran home, happy and light. Ryoko won't tell anyone! Now I'm safe!

"What did Haruhi tell you, Ryoko-san?" Tsuruya asked. "I was told not under any circumstances not to tell anyone--ever!" The blue-haired girl answered. "Haruhi would be mad."
"Oooh, what's it about?"
"Nothing!"
"I'll tell everyone about the scoccer ball incident!"
"I guess I can trust you. But you have to promise, no telling anyone!"
Ryoko whispered something in Tsuruya's ear. "Oooh, I know she-" Tsuruya began, but was ct off by Ryoko. "SHHHHH!!!" She hissed.
"Whoops! Sorry!"
Tsuruya walked off to sit with Mikuru. Ryoko sighed. "Something tells me I shouldn't have told Tsuruya-san..."

"MIKURU-SAN!" Tsuruya called, scaring Mikuru, who spilled her tea all over Kyon. "YOWWWWW!" He shreieked, running inside to get a towel. "I'm sorry, Kyon!" Mikuru said. "What did you want to tell me, Tsuruya?" "Something important. But shhh, it's a secret. Can I trust you?"
"Oh, of course!"
"Okay..."
Tsuruya whispered something in Mikuru's ear. "Oh, okay. I swear by my tea I will never tell a soul." Mikuru said. "Or least a soul I can't trust."

"Kyon? Are you alright?" Mikuru entered the SOS Brigade room, where Kyon was putting on some new socks. "Oh, I'm fine, Asahina-san." He replied.
"Kyon....I can trust you, right?"
"Sure."
"Okay, but what I'm about to tell you is classfied information."
Mikuru whispered something in Kyon's ear. Kyon nodded, promising not to tell anyone.

Kyon walked outside, where Yuki was sitting reading her book. Can I trust Yuki? I mean, she hardly speaks....wait, that's another reason why I should! "Yuki?" He walked over to the silent girl, who turned to look at him.
"Can I trust you to not tell anyone this information?"
"..."
"I'll take that as a yes."
Kyon whispered something in Yuki's ear. "Don't tell anyone, okay?" Kyon reminded. Yuki nodded once more.

Itsuki was relaxing quietly next to Yuki. It was then that he decided to talk to her. "Hey, Yuki, let's talk. What have you find out today?" He asked. "You must vow not to reveal the information I am about to give you. Do not tell anyone." Yuki said.
"Of course I won't."
Seeing there was no one else around, Yuki decided to reveal it out loud:
"Haruhi Suzumiya is in love with you."
Those were seven words that took Itsuki completely aback.

"Hey, everyone!" Haruhi busted through the doors of the SOS Brigade's club room. The others waved, all except for Yuki, who pointed to a note that layed on top of the computer. "What's this?"
She picked it up.
Haruhi,
I would like to talk to you.
Depending on handwriting, you might know who this is.

"Um...okay...I have to talk to someone, so Kyon's in charge." Haruhi ran out the door. Everyone looked at a confused Kyon, who said, "Who wants to finger paint?"

Haruhi looked around until he saw none other than Itsuki, standing in front of a tree. "Glad you've come, Ms, Suzumiya." He said, that same smile on his face. "What's wrong?" Haruhi asked.
"...It seems that I have found out something about you."
Oh, no! "Who told you?"
"I'm sorry, I can't tell you, but I must reveal that I don't feel the same way."
"What?" The Brigade leader clutched her heart, as if it were broken in a million pieces.
"I'm really sorry." Itsuki turned away.
"But...someone must have..that's okay."
Walking back in the school, Haruhi turned to look at Itsuki, who looked back at her with a sad smile.

All of the Brigade were surprised when Haruhi ran through the door, covering her tear-stained face. "...Haruhi...? Are you okay?" Ryoko asked. "How could you, Ryoko?!"
"What?"
"You told Itsuki my secret!"
"No, I didn't! The only person I told is...Tsuruya!"
Ryoko stomped over to Tsuruya. "You told Koizumi, didn't you?" She asked. "No way! I only told Mikuru!" Tsuruya replied, looking at said girl. "N-No! I didn't tell Itsuki! I told Kyon!" Mikuru said. "Kyon, why did you tell Itsuki?" "Whoa, whoa, for starters, I don't know what the hell is going on here! And second of all, I told..."
"YUKI!" Mikuru, Tsuruya, Kyon, and Ryoko looked at Yuki. "I must confess, I was the one who informed Itsuki. My apologies, Haruhi Suzumiya." She said.
"I..I forgive you all, but..." Haruhi looked up, tears streaming down her face. "Dismissed..." She walked sadly out the room.
"I feel terrible." Ryoko said. At that, Itsuki came in. "Sorry I'm late. Where's-"
"She went home. She is very upset."
"Koizumi." Kyon began. "What did you tell her?"
"I..I was trying to hide my feelings."
"You love her too?" Tsuruya exclaimed. "I guess..but she won't find out." Itsuki replied.
"You can still go see her; She's probably packing her stuff."
"Okay."

Haruhi packed her bags, wiping her tears as she did. "Why did I ever think he loved me? No! Why do I feel like this?" "M-Ms. Suzumiya?." She turned to see an embarassed Itsuki.
"What it it now?"
"I wasn't telling the truth when I said I didn't feel the same way about you. I love you too."
"I....I love you, Koizumi!"
Haruhi buried her face in her hands. She was sobbing. "Koizumi..." She looked up at him. "Please don't look at my face right now...I-I'm blushing and it's messy from crying....so...um..." "No problem." Itsuki loomed closer to her, eyes closed. Haruhi removed her hands from her face as their lips met. When the kiss ended, they looked at each other. "I l-lo-love you." Haruhi stammered, looking into Itsuki's brown eyes. "I love you too, Ms. Suzumiya."
