After 69 years of bomb dropping, Japan developed itself beautifully. May this country be at the top of advancement forever. My best wishes with Japan!

Japan is definitely on the top of my list of places to travel. I want to learn Japanese, but I just wish the high school's where I live had Japanese as a foreign language. All they have is Spanish, French, and I think German.

I have the same problem, and the exact the same languages are taught at my high school. Except Spanish, they don't teach that anymore. I study all of them, because languages are my thing, my interest. But the language I'd like to learn the most is Japanese, and I can only study it in my free time. And I don't have a lot of free time. Good thing there's anime, because it makes learning much easier =)over a year ago
I just hate it when people stereotype and make fun of Japanese people. They say there "evil and trying to take over the world" and "The only thing they can do is math" My least favorite is that there satanic. Why do people hate this awesome race of people?

It truly does disgust me when I see people who love Japan only for its manga and anime. I mean, there's just so much more to it then that, its language, history, culture and many other things.
I admit, I love manga and anime, but it does not nearly represent the beauty of that nation.

I'm totally with you here, it's driving me nuts! Everything they talk about is nothing else but "sexy bishonens", "sushi", manga and anime" or karaoke, they're eventually familiar with several Japanese worlds like: kawaii or kyaaaa. Friggin irritating!over a year ago
I bet it is nice in Japan. People there are extremely healthy/fit, and not to mention, they are inspiring hard workers. They're work ethics impresses me more than anything; also the fact that family is everything, and honor. Highly disciplined people, and highly motivated; inspires me so much.over a year ago
Who are we to say American's are great. We can't even get off our fat asses to work, but go on food stamps, flunk school, go into debt, etc. Pity... just pity.over a year ago
Hi, the name's, Daniel. I'm a huge Japanese/Anime freak, speak Japanese, and will soon be visiting the country itself. This is just a post to welcome myself to you all.

Keep it up and learn! You know, learning Japanese isn't as hard as people say. They say it's hard because it is new to them. It's a whole new different language and could scare people to learn it. All you need to do is believe you can learn it. To tell you the truth, I found Japanese more easier than English; funny isn't it? As soon you learn Katakana, it should be easy. Here is my tip to learn Japanese fast: First, learn the Hiragana. After that, read a vocab book of Japanese words (To go, to eat, to sleep, pencil, pen, etc.) After that, learn the rest (Katakana.) It really isn't all that hard.over a year ago
There is also something else called Kanji. You have to learn all the Kanji characters if you want to visit Japan and understand signs, names, and such.over a year ago
me too, but only one day there would be a legendary for me and if i can live there forever it would be so freaking amazing cool awesome great thing to happen :Dover a year ago
I went to Japan before, but it was just to go to The Phillipines! (In a airplane)
I didn't like going in planes. D: Good advice: When your riding a plane, always chew, like, pretend your eatting something, 'cause if you don't you can't hear what other people are saying, and your ears will also hurt, I experienced that before, and it didn't do me any good. IT HURT ALOT! DX
