"Axel seems a little different." My spine stiffened. I never wanted to talk about Axel being different, because if I did, I'd realize just how different my twin was from normal. Not a good thing to think about. "What makes ya say dat, yo?" I asked Rude casually. Rude gave me a look through his shades. "Did Pyro act up or something? Tell me Reno." I turned my head away.
Eventually, I'd give in to Rude, but right now I needed to think. Axel had told me before I left that none of the Org members, save for Saix, trusted him now that they knew the exsistance of his demon. I blamed myself. Pyro had been dorment ever since Ax had lost his heart, but once we had been reunited, Pyro awoke. ShinRa started a bet about what actually woke Pyro.
Some say the Mako, others say Blood did, and others say my stupidity. I say all of the above. "All right, al right," I sighed, giving in to Rude's silent treatment, "I'll tell ya." I poured out the problem to Rude, hoping he could help me figure this out. Rude shook his head. "You Sinclairs sure know how to get into trouble," Rude sighed. "Thanks for da complament, yo! Sarcasum intended," I muttered bitterly.
We arrived at the ShinRa building and go up to see Rufus. "Any sighs of Mako?" Rufus asks. We shake our heads no, and are dismissed. "Reno! Come check this out!" Comes the overly excited voice of Rod as we pass his office. I slaunder in, Rude following. Elena, Tsung, and Cissnei are in there too, crowded around Rod's computer. "These kids looks like you and Axel!" Rod exclaimes. Interested, I walk over and take a look.
Sure enough, a picture that looks as if it were drawn on a scroll takes up most of the screen. It's two red headed boys, both with sea-green eyes. There are two lines under their eyes that look like scars. A cat is one one boy's shoulder, and the other boy is holding a puppy. Both boys and animals were looking up at a bright shining star. "Who are they?" I asked, not tasking my eyes off the pic.
"Well, you see, I went on a mission to Costa De Sol, and they were having a festival that celabrated legends. This picture caught me eye, so I asked some old lady about it," Rod explained, "She said it was the picture that represented a legend about a pair of twins played with by fate." I looked over at Rod. "You find the stupidest stuff ever," I told him, and sent a copy of the picture to my mail so I could look at it later.
"Come on! You gotta be at lest a little interested!" Rod whinned. I rolled my eyes and left, Rude folowed. "So like Rod," Rude mused, "To get sidetrackecd on a mission." We headed toward th Turk living room for some coffee. "I'm so dreadin my mission tamorrow, yo," I sighed. Rude smirked. "All your gonna do is fly Elena and me to some runes, not go take out a gang." I laughed. Slowly, everything slipped away, all that matttered was chatting with Rude, being a Turk. Axel was pushed outta my mind, at least for the moment.
