Chapter Three: Lost, Lost and Found.
Kelcey's POV
The ninja let us stay the night. And we just sleep on the floor in Nya's room. She seemed a bit psyched to have another girl here. I wouldn't blame her.
That morning when I got up, it was like 8 o'clock. I looked in my. Backpack, which seemed to have grown another compartment, was full of clothes. I picked out a cute white shirt with a pair of glasses printed on them, a pair of jeans, and combat boots. I walked out to see the ninja eating breakfast, and I sat in between Zane and Mikey. And I must admit, I got a bit nervous. I didn't much like sitting in places that wasn't my home. Which is probably my weirdest attribute.
Zane offered me some food, but I refused. I had stolen Mikey's walnut and ate them last night. But the truth is, I also didn't like eating food I didn't make. That's why I'm a wreck to take to a restaurant.
After breakfast the ninjas went to train. And Mikey stalkerishly asked to watch.
we were sitting on the deck, watching Jay and Cole battle in their Kendo suits. Cold is our favorite, Mikey and I both. But Mikey was watching all the action, While I was focused on Cole. Hope he doesn't notice.
Cole's POV
Okay, she's staring at me. . . Creepy. -_-
Kai's POV
Something telling me these kids aren't trustworthy. The way Mikey payed attention to our every move. And then the Kelcey was staring at Cole. What's her problem. All of a sudden there was a buzzing sound. "the phone is ringing, the phone is ringing, now pick it up!" a voice came from Kelcey's pockets. She took out a phone and read something.
"omg, Mikey look!" she said.
"cool, so that's actually coming from back-" Mikey began, but Kelcey punched him, "back- back- backyardigans!!!" He shouted. Kelcey scooted away. "back what ?" she said.
"that picture, on your phone. It's from the backyardigans." he put on hopeful smile, and the Rey of us went back to training. And Kelcey went back to staring at Cole.
Nya's POV
There was an alert on the screen, and Garmadon's evil face appeared.
"greeting, ninja- were are the ninja?" he asked.
"outside." I said.
"would you go and get them?" he asked.
I walked out side.
"backyardigans!!!" shouted Mikey. Kelcey scooted away. "back what ?" she said.
"that picture, on your phone. It's from the backyardigans." Mikey put on hopeful smile. everyone else went back to what the were doing.
"Guys, your gonna wanna see this!" I called.
The guys bursted in, Kelcey and Mikey trailing behind.
"what is it Nya?" Kai asked.
"You know who." I said.
"hello ninja! I have a plan to defeat you that you surely cannot beat!" said Garmadon.
"and what would that be?" Cole asked.
"I'm going to kill two children." He said. "I have them right here. With just the clap of my hands, they get dropped into a ravine."
"how does that hurt the ninja?" Kelcey questioned. "because it kinda seems like some of them hate kids." she threw a dirty look at Kai.
"because so they really want a seven year old to perish to save themselves?" Garmadon asked.
"sure they do! I mean, by the time we get they're, you throw em into the ravine and and we'll all just be rid of two more pain in the neck! In fact-" she slapped herself in the face, then grinned widely at the screen. "don't ask me what that proves." she said.
"it doesn't prove anything." Kai said.
"who's side are you on?" she said. "I hate your hair. I'm sorry, it had to be said. I just loath your hair."
Everyone, Mikey included, stared at her.
"what? So I'm a little odd. I don't care. It's like we're all coloring picture and I just scribbled outside the lines." everyone still stared. "just shut up and someone steer us to oraboris." she walked out the door.
"so what are gonna do about Garmadon?" Mikey asked.
"we? What do you mean we?" Cole asked. "your staying here wih Nya. We don't want anything happening."
"aww. But I can fight!" he protested.
"you? Don't make me laugh! Your puny!" Kai said.
"I'm 12!" Mikey said.
"and puny!" Kai said.
"stop making fun of me!" Mikey exclaimed.
"either way," Cole said, "your staying here."
