1. Do wear under-eye concealer
Concealer helps with under-eye circles.
For a fresh face, it’s helpful to mask any under-
eye bags or dark circles with a touch of
concealer. A product like the TrèStiQue Concealer
Crayon does an amazing job of brightening this
often purple or red area, even if you’re seriously
exhausted. It’s also gentle enough to never
irritate this delicate and sensitive under-eye
area.

2. Don’t go too much lighter than
your foundation
Choose your concealer carefully.
The ever popular contouring trend has
unfortunately led women to harshly contrast their
bronzer and concealer colors. However, choosing
a concealer that is practically snow-white when
your skin has a natural tan makes the product
far too obvious, and a little scary looking. Stick
to a concealer that’s just two shades lighter
than your natural skin color so that you don’t
draw further attention to this tired area.

3. Do use blush on the apples of
your cheeks
Do you know how to properly apply blush?
No matter the time of year, you should absolutely
consider blush a daily beauty essential. Paired
with an SPF moisturizer and a touch of mascara,
blush has the ability to make your skin look
instantly radiant, healthy, and glowing. It’s also
one of the least fussy products to apply, either
with a stick or a fluffy powder brush.

4. Don’t pack on the bronzer
Wearing too much bronzer just doesn’t look
natural.

5. Do find a taupe or nude eye
shadow
Neutral colors look best for eye shadow.
When applying your everyday makeup, nothing
looks better than soft and neutral eye shadow
colors. Taupe, nude cream, or even a subtle coral
will help give you a natural looking glow. I love TrèStiQue Shadow Crayons in the Tibetan
Ivory, Venetian Gold, and Morimoto Pink Pearl.
Any of these stunning cream shadows will make
your eyes pop with a shimmering finish.

6. Don’t wear a full smokey-eye
Dramatic eye makeup like this is too much for
everyday looks. Most women are pressed for time while getting ready in the morning, so why bother applying a smokey-eye? This extreme look is great for formal occasions, but will make you look
seriously overdone when worn to the office. Take
our advice and reserve the silver and black
shadows for a night on the town.

7. Do wear a soft, neutral lipstick
Try something natural for everyday wear.
Lipstick isn’t only reserved for special occasions.
In the right color, it actually does an excellent
job of completing your everyday look. Lipstick
has the wonderful ability to make you look
instantly put together and mature — even if your
life feels totally chaotic. A few great daily lipstick
options are the Vitamin E Lip Smoothers by
EccoBella, which are infused to nourish your
pout.

8. Don’t line your lips with a dark
pencil
Say goodbye to your super dark lip pencils.
One of the all-time biggest makeup no-nos is
lining your lips with a dark pencil. This outdated
look not only comes across as blatantly
unnatural, but it also ages your mouth area and
makes your lips look smaller. If you must use lip
liner, stick to the exact shade of neutral lipstick
you’re wearing. Or, find a color that matches
your lips, then fully color between the lines.

9. Do stick with black or brown
mascara
You’ll want to go for brown or black mascara.
If you only have time to do one thing before
leaving the house, make sure it’s applying
mascara. Dark brown or black elongates your
eyelashes and makes your entire face look more
feminine! Mascara also has the ability to open,
brighten, and rejuvenate tired eyes.

10. Don’t bother wearing heavy, fake
lashes
False eyelashes are too dramatic for most
occasions. Wearing heavy, fake lashes during the light of day is going seriously overboard. Not only do
most fake options hinder your natural eyelash
growth and damage your waterline, but they also
run the risk of making you look like you’re in
costume. We recommend saving falsies for night
looks. If you truly feel insecure without them
during the day, turn to Sugarlash’s Natural
Lashes , which look lovely, real, and far more
toned-down.
