By the 1920's, music was beginning to change. Although most instruments were still being used from hundreds of years ago, they were being played in a different style.

Many things were changing in The United States of Equestria during the 20's. Not only the music, but many inventions were being created, such as the radio, the car, the washing machine, and even advertising was invented.
Life was getting easier, but there were some downsides. The prohibition began, which outlawed alcohol, and many ponies began to form mafias. Crime was getting higher, and innocent ponies were being shot.
Despite all of the ups, and downs, the roaring 20's were going to end in a very bad way.

The great depression. When the stock market crashed, nearly everypony in the United States became poor, and could barely afford anything.
But that didn't stop some of the ponies from creating music. Most songs during the early 30's were about the great depression, and some ponies would sing about what was happening.
Octavia: It was a terrible time. Nearly everypony was living out on the streets, with barely enough to keep them going. It was so sad.
Shining Armor: I remember learning about the great depression. It had to be the worst time of The United States ever.
Cadence: Shining, will you come clean this floor for me?
Shining Armor: Why don't you do it yourself you lazy b**ch?
Cadence: Get over here, and clean the floor!!
Fluttershy: I remember hearing all those songs about the great depression. I think I have a few records in my attic.
Vinyl Scratch: I thought the Great Depression sounded cool. Everypony had to live out on the streets, and even a few climbed on some trains, and stole things! I wanna do that!!
But things were about to get better. By 1933, a pony by the name of Franklin D. Roosevelt became president, and promised to make things better.

Roosevelt was as good as his word. More ponies were getting jobs, and getting new houses, and musicians were back to singing about good things.
Octavia: There's a lot of good songs that came out of the 30's. I like listening to them.
Vinyl Scratch: My friend Octavia keeps making me listen to some songs from the 30's. They're alright, but those songs need a BASS CANNON!! *Activates bass cannon*

Vinyl Scratch: Wait a minute, why is Octavia talking? *Waits a few seconds* Okay, here we go! *Dancing to music*

Ahem.
A lot of people hate Kimi Sparkle for her hilarious videos that think she's really being serious. Come on, guys, she's one of the Friendship is Witchcraft creators. I think (no, know) she's not telling us she really does want Rarity to go away forever or wants Fallout: Equestria to be real (since Fo:E is really bucking long), but she's just saying a joke. People accuse her for actually hating Rarity and wanting Trixie to come back. All of the dislikers don't get sarcasm, and I think that is just either they aren't looking thoroughly into the videos, or they are just trolling.
If you people want to hate on just an innocent joke, go ahead. We know that there are other MLP reviewers than Kimi.
Yes, I know, that wasn't really much, but I'm not a good writer..
