The boys perked up when they heard that Henry was once a roadie. "We'd love to hear about those days!" they said. Henry said, "Well, after I left home, I made my way to Memphis. I'm sure you know it was the birthplace of rock and roll. People did have a hard time taking me seriously at first." Charles asked, "Was it because you looked young for your age?" Henry nodded. "Yeah. I didn't look seventeen. People thought I was more like fourteen, and they were surprised I was able to drive. They soon learned to take me seriously when they saw how I was able to lift heavy equipment with ease. Just like that, I became a roadie." Les asked, "Which band did you work for?" Henry said, "To be honest, I served so many people, I can't remember their names. They tried to make it big. They were lucky if they lasted six months." Felix said, "It must've been a tough business." Henry nodded. "Yeah, making it big in rock and roll wasn't easy. I did get to travel to many places across the country. Still, the highlight of my early days was meeting the Beatles." The boys' eyes widened. "No way!" Les remarked. "You met the Beatles?!" Henry smiled. "Yes, I met the Beatles. I saw them at a concert in 1965, I think. I'm not very good with dates. It turned out we were staying in the same hotel. I never served as their roadie, but it was an honor and a privilege to meet them. They were really nice too." He smiled, thinking about the time he spent with the Beatles, although it was short. He then continued, "I also have another fond memory from a Beatles concert. I met someone very special."
