you all may be wanting to punch me in the face. why? because im supposed to be posting number 23 to my series of lovvveeeee. BUT I had an amazing idea. Demigods, they have dreams of the past, present, and future, correct? Well, SOMEONE at camp must have had a dream about Percy coming. Now, what if that person was Annabeth? Well, that's what this story is about. So without further a do, a one-shot about ANNABETH'S DREAM.
Disclaimer: I do not own anyone in this story except Lauren. For now...
Goodnight, Annabeth. Have fun dreamin' about LUKEEEEEE," Lauren, my half sister said reaching over to turn or lap off. I hated people thinking I was in love with Luke. He was like a brother, a role model, a brother.
"Lauren, I'm going to punch you. Really, hard," I told her, throwing my fist at the air near her face.
"Hahaha you KNOWWW I love you, silly goose," Lauren said finally turning off the light. I went to my bed and took all the stuff off of it and laid it next to my drawers. My hands were shaking and I thought it was because of how exhausted I was, but suddenly I felt like my stomach just dropped 100 feet below sea level. I took my knife off my dresser and held it almost like a teddy bear. It kept me safe through a lot of stuff, I knew I could fight off anything with it.
"Good night Lauren." I told her, even though I knew she had already fallen asleep. I could here Malcom snoring from the other side of the cabin and it made me smirk a bit, but this feeling kept coming back, barely showing any sign of going away. I couldn't really explain what I thought this feeling was, because I had no idea. I guess, if some one asked I'd say, it felt like someone was dropping a bucket of spiders on my head, which was terrifying.
I closed my eyes, hoping sleep would save me and soon enough it did, but with sleep, comes dreams, and with dreams... well they aren't always my favorite thing in the world.
"Perccccy!" I heard someone bleat. Bleat? Well it could only be a talking goat or Grover, and I figured Grover.
"Fooooooood!" He groaned. I knew he only did that when he was hurt. I could tell from how I was viewing him that he was being carried. Carried up a green hill that was wet and muddy.
"I'll get you there, G-man. Almost there..." The boy that spoke had black hair, and sea green eyes. He either had freckles sprinkling his nose, or it was dirt. Grover kept saying foooood and I could tell even from a dream that this boy was getting weak, and that carrying a satyr was really helping him and his condition that he was in. I really wanted to reach out and take Grover so that the boy could rest, but I couldn't move, or speak. I was just forced to watch and do nothing, I felt use-less, and I didn't like it one bit.
As they climed up the hill I notied a certain Pine Tree... Thaila's tree! They were at half-blood hill! How couldn't I have known before? Now I really fought to run and help. For some reason I wanted to really help this boy, I felt like he was important. And it had nothing to do with the fact that he was cute or anything, CAUSE HE WASN'T!!... but he just seemed important in general, not just to me, but to everyone.
I shot up in bed, knowing that he was the one. The boy that I saw in my dream was the one. I needed to get to Chiron and tell him, quick. I went to my dresser, pulled out dark shorts and a Camp Half-Blood shirt and a brown hoodie and put them on as fast as possible. I combed my rat's nest and slipped on my converse. I bolted out of my cabin and ran straight to the big house knowing that if I don't hurry the harpies will find me, and let's just say they really like demigods as a midnight snack.
"Chiron!" I yelled as I entered the Big House. The screen door slammed open and Chiron clopped towards me.
"What my dear? It is way past curfew! Why are you awake, and most importantly why are you in here?" He asked, his tail wagged and I saw his pink heated curlers. If I wasn't so out of breath or worried I would've cracked up laughing.
"I just had a dream! It was Grover, and this boy, I think his name was Percy-"
"Percy? Percy Jackson?"
"I don't know his last name, just the Percy part. Anyway, he was holding Grover and walking toward the Big house."
Chiron went to the front door and I bolted after him. As he opened the door we saw a passed out Grover on the side of the step and a boy, the one I saw in my dreams, laying there, trying to keep his eyes open. Chiron picked up the boy and layed him on the foyer floor, and for the first time in my life I didn't know what to think except he is the one. It's not false alarm this time, he made it here, and he IS the one.
Did we like it? Okay okay, I promised, back to number 23, I just wanted to try this out! Please comment!
