Carter's POV
I woke up in a tent all alone, no one around. It frighten me a little bit. I didn't know where I was. Had Hook found me in the woods?
Hook! He scared be really, really bad now. I hated Hook. How could he have done that to me? It was all so strange.
I got out of the cot I was on and headed for the tent door. I was really sore and stiff. I leg was hurting and my stomach. I looked down and saw huge lines where my skin had been cut. I walked out side and I was at Indian Hill.
Everyone was walking around busy. I didn't know what to do. I couldn't speak what they spoke. I sat down and watched everyone stare as they walked passed. It looked as if they were doing chores.
How long have you been up? Someone asked as I jumped.
Not long. I said.
I looked over and saw Nadan and Tiger Lily. They were holding hands. It was odd.
You should be laying down. Nadan said.
I'm fine, but we need to talk. I said.
Okay. He said.
Tiger Lily didn't go anywhere.
I ment alone. I said.
She's fine, whatever you can say to me, you can say to Tiger Lily. He said.
Than there is nothing to say. I sighed.
I didn't want to descuss why he didn't tell me about him and Tiger Lily.
Peter came around the corner and hugged me.
You're up! How are you feeling? He asked.
I'm fine. I said with a smile.
An akward silence followed our small conversation. My smile also faded away.
I went back to the tent to see if I had anything that was in the tent.
Peter followed me.
How are you? Peter asked.
Fine. I said.
Emotional? He asked.
Emo what? I asked.
What about your feelings? Peter asked.
Oh that, um none. I said.
No what do you feel? He asked again.
Soreness. I shrugged.
No, anger, sadness, happiness, confused, loved? He asked.
Um..confused. I said.
Why? He asked.
Because of these question. I laughed.
Oh. Peter laughed.
What did you mean by love? I asked.
Wendy and I were talking last night, and she mentioned all these feelings. She mentioned loved and well I remember what love felt like. I miss it. He said.
Don't tell me you are going back to London with everyone else? I asked scared.
No, I am not. He said.
Oh good, I couldn't live without you here. I mean Never Land couldn't function without you. I said.
I didn't mean to say those words but they slipped out and now I couldn't take them back.
Never Land could function without me. He said.
Yeah I guess your right. I said.
Carter I hate to tell you this but. I don't have feeling towards you. I like you like a um sister or whatever. I like like Wendy and I'm sorry that I don't feel the same way towards you that you feel for me. He said.
It's fine. I know. I said.
Thank you. Peter sighed.
Moving on. What do we do? I asked.
We visit Wendy! Peter chimmed.
Okayyyy. I said.
As we got to Wendy's house we were looking in the dining room. The boy were wearing nice clothes and Wendy was wearing a fancy dress. Everyone was smiling and laughing. I looked over at Peter. He was smiling too.
Why are you smiling? I asked.
Because Wendy is happy. He said.
I looked at him once more before I turned to look back at Wendy and the boys.
Peter started walking somewhere.
Where are you going? I asked.
Inside. He said.
What am I suppose to do? I asked.
Come with me. I'm sure their parents would like to meet the girl that defeated Hook and saved their children. He smiled.
I don't know. I said.
Come on, nothing can go wrong. They aren't Hook. They don't have swords and a crew of pirates. Peter said.
Shut up! I said as I punched Peter. But missed and hit the door. It made a knocking sound. I gulped.
A man came to the door and stared at us oddly.
Wendy come here please. The man said.
Wendy came to the door and gasped as she saw Peter standing there.
Peter! She squeilled.
She hugged him and asked her father if we could come in. The man looked us up and down and than said "okay".
I had never seen a house so fancy before.
Mum! Mum, Peter and Carter are here! Wendy screamed.
Kyle, Ryan, and Reid got up from the table and ran over to me.
We missed you, Carter! Kyle, Ryan, and Reid said.
I missed you too. I said.
They hugged me than they hugged Peter.
Hi Wendy. I shyly.
Hey Carter! How are your wounds? Wendy asked.
Umm...fine, I guess. I said.
How did she know?
We are really glad that you are okay. Braden said.
Yeah, we are really happy that you are fine. Oliver said.
Thank you. I smiled.
That was really kind of them.
How is everything between you and Peter? Oliver asked in a whispered.
The same as when Wendy was in Never Land. I said.
I'm sorry. He said.
It's fine. I shrugged.
My guy is out there. I said to myself.
We stayed for a while and just talked to them. Mr and Mrs Darlig were nice but I wouldn't want to have them as parents.
I let out a sigh of relief as we left their house.
