I was born into a normal family or so I thought.

My family was no where near normal, but not in the sence that we were demons, imortals or other mythical beings. My family is the soul ruler of Kumori. Many mythical beings live on the land and my father loved them, while my mother hated them. When my father died, I was about three, my mother took over. Her rule was a bad one, because she hated all mythical beings. She killed everyone she saw and told the people of the many surrounding villages if they saw any to let her know and she would kill them.
I was five when my mother brought me out to the stables saddled my horse and then said, "Son today is the day you get to see Mommy doing what she loves to do."
We headed out and of course the guard came as well you know you can't have the Queen unprotected. We traveled for hours until we reached a little village tucked away in the woods. Thats were I saw my mother kill a wolf demon. I tried to stop her, but she didn't listen. The demon was dead, and a little girl sat at his body crying.

It was five years later when I met this same girl in the woods while I was hunting. I did not try to hurt her, but I talked to her. She had a very tragic life. The only person that loved her was killed by my mother. I was really starting to hate my mother.
Over the next eight years I became good friends with her, but I was starting to have stronger feelings for her. I couldn't keep it to myself anymore I told her I loved her. It was a good choice, because she felt the same way.
I left my mother's castle and her ways of life behind. I would not grow up to be a killer like my mother, but a lover like my father. I went to live in the woods with Whinny. No more would I be known as the son of the evil, mean, killing machine Queen Naoko. From now on I would just be Nick, the boy who fell inlove with a half demon. And thats the way I liked it, but my mother hated it.
