In a small dark room, located inside the café, Elliot and Wesley were staring at the computer. Elliot was sitting in the chair while Wesley was standing beside him. “Would you mind explaining to me why you chosen the Kri-Kawa Springs?” Wesley asked. “There weren’t many places,” Elliot responded while staring at the computer screen. “Most of the forests are cut down and a lot of camping businesses have been shut down.” Wesley was concerned over something. “But, what about the history of the area? Have you thought about telling them?” The truth was Elliot was looking into the history behind it which resulted in shocking truths. “I-I-I had no clue this was real,” He exclaimed while his eyes were filled with shock. “Can something like that actually happen in a camping resort?” Clearly there is a truth behind the Kri-Kawa Springs. Explaining it to the girls would be the hardest thing to do. For now, they would have to keep it classified.
The following morning, Zoey and Kasey made it to the café. Corina and the others were all outside, suitcases and all. “It’s about time you guys showed.” Corina said in a mocking tone. Zoey was upset that her mind was filled with thoughts of torcher and power. Bridget managed to calm her which the rage ended quickly. While they were outside, Elliot and Wesley were sitting at one of the tables. All they could do was think about the consequences over the history of the springs. “What should we do?” Wesley asked. Elliot lay back on the chair, with his arms crossed as he responded, “I don’t know.” If they went ahead and explained the truthful story there was possibly no way the girls would dare go. “I guess we don’t have a choice,” Elliot said. “We cannot tell them anything. Besides, if we tell them than they will never get another chance to relax.” Though it was a difficult situation to follow, Wesley had to agree. After a short time of socializing the girls got on the traveling bus and left. Elliot and Wesley stood by the café as they watched the bus slowly disappearing. “I’m sorry girls,” Elliot said in his mind. “But I want you all to enjoy yourselves.”
When riding on the bus, it took at lease an hour to get to the woods which stand on the mountain’s edge. Luckily for Zoey and the others, they brought things that could get them through the trip. Corina brought a novel to read, Kikki brought little toys which only she knew how to play, Bridget brought her homework to work on, Renee brought the latest issue of the local magazine to read and Zoey had Kasey to talk to. Kasey was looking out the window as everything moved faster and was blurry. He didn’t mind though cause staring at the window was fun. “What’s so fun about that?” Zoey asked while a sweat drop was seen on the right side of her head. He turned and looked at her with confusion. “Whatever do you mean?” “It just gets me ill when I stare at the window for too long.” Zoey responded. Kasey was still a little confused. “It’s not really that bad,” He said. “Staring at the window can be fun. Especially if you’re daydreaming or something.” Though his words were very wise, Zoey continued having her doubts over window observing. Within an hour, the bus finally arrived at the resort. “Yay! We’re here!” Kikki yelled while jumping up and down.
After checking in, everyone went outside to the main portion of the springs. Much to their dismay the area was small as it was less thrilling. “What place is this?” Zoey asked with humiliation. Kikki and Bridget were looking around. “There is hardly anything here,” Bridget said. “What a surprise.” Kikki on the other hand was having her own thrills as she was jumping from the trees that circled around the area. Everyone could only watch. Kasey too enjoyed the sights. “This may not be what we expected, but think of it like this- it’s better than nothing.” While his wisdom was helpful, everyone could only stare with shame. “This stinks,” Zoey exclaimed with anger. “We came all this way to relax and this is all we get?! I want to get out of here this instant!” Kikki and Bridget tried to stop her. When things returned to normal, everyone was settled in their own cabins. “What an outrage, just an outrage.” Zoey mumbled. Kasey, who was sitting on her and was a bloodhound, could only sigh. “When will she cool down?” He asked in his mind. Bridget, Corina, and Kikki opened the cabin door. “Hey Zoey! Come on! We’re going swimming in the creek!” They said. To their shock, Zoey’s body was in fact slumped on the wall while her head sat on the edge of the window. She was moaning and groaning with envy. “What’s with her?” Corina asked. Kasey jumped off the bed and approached them while saying, “She’s just up tight over all of this.”
“Come on Zoey! Don’t be such a baby!” Corina exclaimed with anger. Kasey, Bridget and Kikki’s reactions were filled with shock. They couldn’t believe what she said. “Why would you say such a thing?” Bridget asked with surprise. Corina, who wasn’t at all sorry, whipped her short hair, turned and walked away. The others watched as she slowly disappeared from a distance and turned their attention back to Zoey, who was still sulking by the window. They did everything in their will to help her but nothing they did was working. “Well, what do we do now?” Bridget asked. “I guess we should go on to the creek.” Kasey responded. Bridget gasped as she couldn’t believe what she heard. “But, you’re just going to leave her? You’re always there by her side.” Shaking his head slowly, Kasey knew what he said was wrong. However, going to the creek was something he wanted to do. “I understand that clearly,” He responded. “But I do want to relax at the creek for a while. I’m sure it’ll be fine if she stays here for a moment. She’s having a difficult time anyway.” Bridget wasn’t sure, but not wanting to cause anything she believed him. They left the cabin and headed to the creek, which wasn’t very far from the cabin grounds. When they made it, they noticed Renee also came but was lying on a large boulder, taking a sun tan. Corina meanwhile was swimming not very far away. She waved to Bridget, Kikki and Kasey in which they all waved back.
As the hours passed by, everyone was enjoying themselves. Kasey, who was an alligator, was resting on an old log which leaned closer to the water’s edge. He spent most of the hour letting the sun beam down on his body as what reptiles do to get energy. Bridget swam close to the area to see what he was up to. “What are you doing?” She asked. Because he was in deep slumber, Kasey was unable to hear her. After several tries she assumed that he was fast asleep and decided to leave him alone. She swam to where Corina was and asked what she was doing. The only thing she did was working on her swimming strokes. “That’s impressive,” Bridget said. “Want to have a race?” Corina gave a little laugh as she responded, “Sure. But I won’t go easy on you.” Her confidence really scared Bridget. Kikki, who was the race announcer, did the honors in counting down while shouting, “Go!” The race was in fact very surprising as Corina won. She bragged about it for a while. Although she lost, Bridget was delighted for Corina’s accomplishment. After hanging at the water for a little longer, it was time to head back to the grounds. Upon hiking back, everyone realized that Kikki was missing. “I’ll go look for her.” Bridget said as she turned and carefully walked back down the hill. Kasey, Corina and Renee all waited. Meanwhile, Kikki was in the creek area, observing something. What she saw was something completely unknown to her eyes. Just when Bridget shouted, the thing quickly vanished into thin air while Kikki rubbed both of her eyes with her arm. “What are you doing all the way out here?” Bridget asked. “I saw something very freaky.” Kikki responded while pointing at the direction where the thing was located. Bridget’s attention faced on the area and returned to Kikki. “I think-I think you were just seeing things. Let’s get going now.”
When they got back to the cabin grounds, they were all astonished to see Zoey, who was sitting on a seat on one of the picnic tables. “Hi Zoey,” Bridget said while smiling. “We came back from the creek.” Zoey turned her head towards Bridget and the others at which her face had a little frown. “I want to apologize,” She responded. “I’ve been acting like a fool and I didn’t care about your feelings at all. So, I’m so sorry.” Everyone accepted her apology and they went through the hour happily and normally. After they ate supper, Zoey, Kasey, Bridget and Kikki were still sitting at the table. Corina and Renee meanwhile were hiking on a trail that took them up on the high ground. “This place may be boring, but it’s actually quite peaceful.” Corina said while admiring the sights. Renee responded, “It is.” The trail they walked on went higher and higher until they reached an opened area where the slopes looked over the low grounds. They approached the slope and gazed at the beauty of the landscape. Corina of all was amazed. Renee gazed for a moment until something caught her attention. She looked straight to the right and walked away. She squatted towards the ground and stared at the mystery thing that was seen on the ground. Corina continued gazing at the sights for a while until she realized Renee was gone. She noticed where she was and approached the area. “What are you looking at?” Corina asked. Though Renee didn’t respond, she looked down and was surprised.

I used to be
alone
fend for my self, there was no friendly home
that's what I used to believe.
But now iv'e found a home
in a lovely group of four,
or is it
five?
Have I been accepted
or will I be
rejected
again.
It's been so long since I knew some one who wouldn't
turn their back on me
I've mixed up 'they could"
with the truth
"they wouldn't,
not everyone is a becky."
I've become
Judgemental,
Tempermental,
and very, very scared.
The things the bullies had
and that i've hated about them.
So I won't be like them,
I'll become my own person.
I'll finally be
FREE!
But I must grow my legs to walk on the land of FREEDOM!
So i've left behind the fins and tail
of timidity
and I used
to be.
