You ran to the treehouse. Your head was throbbing and blood was running down your face. You climbed the ladder and you sat on the wood. You stood up and grabbed a leaf off the ground and started wiping your head. "Hey what happened?" You hear a voice and you turn. Your heart doing leaps. It was Chris. "Oh um my dad." His face turned into a frown. "Come here." He says and he spreads his arms widely. You collapse in his arms. "Are you hurting to much??" He asks and then you say "Not really. But I'll feel alot better if you hold me tighter." He grins and then he picks you up and you wrap your legs around his waist. He sits on the wooded floor and you nuzzle your head into his dirty white t shirt. "Wait! I will make your shirt bloody." "Awh baby it don't matter. Go ahead." You nuzzle your face into his chest again. Pretty soon your asleep.
You wake up to find Chris shirtless and he is wiping your head with your head. You groan and Chris looks at your face. "Hi sleepin beauty." You giggle and pull his body down and he immediately wraps his arms around you tightly. "So I was thinking do you want to move in with me and Gordie and Teddy and Vern?" You smile. "Well bub were would I sleep?" "In my bed duh." He says back. You kiss him over and over again and then you realise. Chris will be the one and only. You will share so many anniversaries together.

Also, Kiefer Sutherland, who also did a phenomenal job with the role of Ace Merrill, had this to say about his character in this really neat behind the scenes documentary titled “Walking the Tracks: The Summer of Stand By Me” (which is found on the Special Edition DVD of the movie):
“He was just a bully, you know? He was the worst nightmare — we’ve all run into them in school. He was a bully.”
I give this film five stars (as well as two thumbs up).. :)
