Devlin Stayed with me all day it was now 12:00 am mum and dad normaly got home at around 1:00 am Although they didn't care, which made me wonder what makes a person do such horrible things to other people what makes someone care so little to not care?, school was no rainbow either it was like being stuck in a nightmare like living a Horror Movie it was now Monday normally i would have to get ready and go by myself but today i had Devlin with me which was lucky because it was hard to make it to school without being attacked by bullies. About 3 hours later at 3:00 am Mum walked through the door her eyes not once looking to me or Devlin SLAM was all we heard as mum and dads bedroom door closed, i had only one guess as to how this had happened dad had a hangover and was now at a mates house but where was Lucy this was strange she was normally with mum when stuff like this happened.
Devlin Sent one glance to me as if saying whats happening, Just then we heard a car door shut normally i wouldn't be so worried but today i had a bad feeling and it was WAY more horrible then the feelings i always got, the front door creeped open Horror,Disgust,Death and tears formed on my face what i was seeing couldn't be real there was my dad standing in the door but he wasn't alone and the thing enclosed in his arm's was not alive at all no life and no happiness the shock and heart break obviously was on my face because the moment i ran out the front door Devlin followed straight away.
I couldn't take it anymore an army of tears wrapped around my cheeks as the sun rise hit the sky, Blasts of light reflected of my wet cheeks, i faced the sun Watching as Early morning Blue birds Flew across it's Orange Surface, i felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist and a head being wrested on my shoulder "Devlin?" i asked as my voice cracked from the sobs that left my toung my body was twisted around as i was pulled into a loving safe hug from My bestfriend, i broke into a wave of tears the pain i felt was unbelievable i had never felt this before.
How could she be gone just like that, i always knew we where in Danger being around my mum and dad but atleast my mum had more a of a heart even if it was barely any at all i heard afew sobs from Devlin obviously he was upset he had known Lucy ever since she was born "Z-zack you h-have to r-ring the police" I knew i had to but i was so scared of what my dad would do if he found out i was the one that called the police Devlin Slipped the phone out of my pocket and pulled his arm and the phone back over to him he Typed in the Numbers 000 and then i the phone rang "this is 000 whats your emergancy?" the voice through the phone asked it took all the strength Devlin had to speak "Sh-shes d-dead" Devlin Forced into the phone "what happened?" the voice asked "m-my friends s-sister is d-dead" "whats your location?" once the conversation was over we were told to stay where we were.
