If Dean and Sam had hoped Cas would be in a better mood after putting some food in his stomach, their hopes were now buried very deep into the ground. After finishing his lunch he threw his plastic plate on the floor.

I poured myself one last glass and then that was it. The liquor was going to be gone soon and then there would be nothing more to stand between me and my decision. I lifted the glass up to my eyes and stared at the content. This small glass of whiskey was the only thing keeping me human, which was funny in a way because alcohol usually turns people into animals, figuratively speaking.
I had promised myself that when the bottle was done I was going to say yes. I was going to let Michael in.
