The Beatles had everything they needed to defeat the Beast of Bodmin Moor. True, they had no idea how they were going to do that exactly, but they weren't worried. They had a Sword of Truth, a Jar of Green Marmite Yeast Extract, a Titanium Pound Coin, a Jeweled Crown, an Orb of Protection and Benevolence, and their heartrending music. And most importantly, they had each other.
"Should we just wait for the Beast to come and find us?" George wondered. The Beatles were still sitting in the abandoned police station, this time with the Orb on the floor between them, casting its beautiful shield all around while the Beatles sat around it like a campfire, and planned their next move.
"Will he come and find us?" John pointed out. "Now that we've got all them Objects, he might not want to come near us."
"He's got to," Paul argued. "He knows we can destroy him; he'll still want to stop us."
Ringo nodded slowly. "He's not going to just avoid us forever - he didn't seem the type. But maybe he'll - I don't know - wait till we're asleep and then sneak up on us or something."
"That's it, then," John declared. "We'll let the Beast find out where we are, and then we'll pretend to be asleep."
"And then when he comes for us, we'll take our Objects and defeat him!" finished Paul, sounding excited.
George nodded, though he frowned nervously. "I don't want him to pounce on any of us, though."
As if it had heard him, the Orb of Protection and Benevolence pulsed and let out a stream of pink shield, directed at George. The shield felt warm and soothing, and George felt that it would protect him from the Beast. He laughed. "There aren't four of us goin' after the Beast anymore; there's nine," he smiled.
John grinned. "I always thought King Richard would have done better if he'd just brought a quartet instead of a whole army."
"He could have just sang the Beast to sleep," Ringo agreed with a laugh, "and then pounced on him."
"Hey!" Paul's multicoloured eyes shone. "Why don't we do that? Why don't we put on a big concert, and put signs up everywhere so that the Beast can see it? Then when the Beast comes to get us after the show, we'll be ready for him!"
The others laughed happily and agreed it was a good idea, but some of them had reservations.
"What about our fans?" George pointed out. "We don't want the Beast hurting them, you know."
"They know we've told them to stay inside," Paul replied, a little uncertainly now.
John shook his head with a smile. "You know our fans, Paul. That wouldn't stop them. I'm surprised none of them have tried to tag along on our quest."
"But the Beast wouldn't attack us during the show," Paul reminded them.
"Not us," John agreed. "What about our fans' souls?"
Paul bit his lip, cheeks red. He looked like he was going to admit John and George were right and abandon the idea, when Ringo spoke up. "We can ask the Orb to shield them."
The others looked at him, impressed. Paul's head went back up and he beamed, his idea saved. John patted Ringo on the shoulder and said, "Not bad, King Richard."
The original King Richard had used the Orb of Protection and Benevolence to shield an entire army. The Beatles could certainly use it to shield a concert crowd.
It was time for the Beatles to play another show.

The next day, Paul, Winston, Ringo, and Geo woke up in their hotel room, refreshed and ready for a new day of performing.
"Today we've got to really get them to notice us," Winston told his friends, over a breakfast of toast, bacon, and eggs. "No more playing in little parks waiting for them police to throw us out. We need a bigger place."
So the little band took their instruments and went to choose their venue. Madison Square Gardens caught their eyes once again, but they weren't going to play their first performance there. No, they would play there when people would come and queue up and buy...

"Let me take you down
'Cause I'm going to
Strawberry fields..."

The voice seeped into Paul's sleeping mind, quite pleasantly, but loud enough to wake him from his slumber. Paul blinked slowly, a little disoriented, wondering for a moment why his bed felt so funny and whether he had left one of his rock-and-roll records on all night, before remembering where he was. But someone was singing.

"And nothing to get hungabout...
Strawberry fields forever...."

And the voice, whoever it belonged to, was good enough to be on any one of the records Paul listened to. Better, even. And that song - Paul really...
