A while later as they munched on their crumpets and drank some fruit punch, Mike sat next to her and asked, "So, how has George been as an adoptive father to you since last year?" Laura replied, "He's been such a wonderful father to me, Mike! Thank you for asking." Mike said, "You're welcome. I'm glad to know that!" George said, "Indeed! I love her veddy much." He smiled in return. Laura then asked, "In what way did you and uncle Paul stay in touch since he moved here?" Mike replied, "We've kept in touch through phone calls, Laura. That's why I was able to come here not only to meet you and his mates, but to also spend time with him." Paul said, "And I'm really glad you did, my dear brother!" Laura remarked, "Aw! That's sweet. I can tell that the two of you have a close bond as well." Mike replied, "Absolutely, Laura! We do." After all of the crumpets had been eaten, everyone decided hold a little jam session, 'cause no party is complete without music for the lads.
