A week had passed since the Beatles, Pattie, Laura, and Mike returned from their vacation in Ireland, and by this point, London had transformed into Swinging London - The world's number one fashion, arts, and culture capital. George and his daughter were currently spending a sunny afternoon relaxing at a bench just close to Big Ben while waiting for a new date with the former's sweetheart, which he had scheduled to take place tomorrow. As Laura ate some jelly babies, George read the front page of today's newspaper when he suddenly gasped and remarked, "Oh, no..." Laura replied, "Yes, daddy George? Is something the matter?" He then nodded and let her see both the headline and its full story. The former was in bold letters and said, QUEEN'S CORGI MYSTERIOUSLY GOES MISSING. Afterwards, Laura remarked, "Dear me. Just then, she had an idea and continued, "Say, why don't we go back to the Palace tomorrow after fetching Pattie and help her out with the search?" These words made George smile and say, "That is exactly what I was thinking about, my dear! Of course! She'll certainly appreciate it veddy much." Laura responded, "Indeed, she would!" George continued, "And this will also be the perfect opportunity for me lovely Pattie to meet her!" Laura exclaimed, "You said it, daddy George!" With that, they shared a big high five to signal the dawn of a new mission.

George and his daughter had just finished their breakfast and were getting themselves prepared to head back to Abbey Road Studios. As they wore their coats, boots, and other winter gear, Laura said, "I'm so excited to take part in the Christmas message with you and my uncles for the first time, daddy George! This is gonna be a real treat." George replied, "So am I, Laura, darling! Even more exciting is that we will be doing our veddy own version of a certain classic, audio drama style! Of course, this was John's idea, and you can thank him for it afterwards." Laura replied, "Oh, how lovely! I'll certainly be keeping that in mind." George responded with a smile and a chuckle. He then took another look at the engagement ring for a while (which he had bought at the start of this month) and gently kissed it. Before long, they drove off, fetched Pattie from her flat, and were on their way to the Studios.
